Aspen and Wanda were in the kitchen, baking a cake. Pietro, Peter, Cal and Loki sat behind the counter, watching them work. Aspen and Wanda were used to this.
Revera, Steve, Tony, Natasha, Thadden and Gatlin were going over the plans for a new mission.
"What flavor is this?" Cal asked.
"Is it peppermint?" Pietro asked.
"I will never put peppermint in a cake. It's disgusting. They may as well call it edible toothpaste", Aspen said.
"Toothpaste and Mints are nothing alike", Wanda said.
"Actually, mints, along with Toothpaste, can actually help with Oral health for your teeth", Tony said. Aspen nodded, impressed. "Yeah, what flavor is the cake?"
"It's raspberry flavored", Aspen said.
"Yeah, that makes sense", Peter said. Aspen and Wanda nodded.
"Can we focus?" Revera asks Tony. Tony went back to work on the plans. Revera glanced at Aspen, who was decorating the cake with Wanda. Revera looked at the plans, but Natasha noticed her glances at Aspen.
"You know, after we've discussed the plan, you should talk to her. You should talk to each other a lot more", Natasha said to Revera.
"I don't know what to say to her", Revera said.
"We need someone to distract the guards so we can break in", Steve said. He looked at Revera. "Can you do that, Revera?"
"Rev is fine. And I can do that", Revera said.
Aspen glanced at Revera before she went back to making the cake. "Rev. Aspen. How long are you going to avoid each other?" Thadden asked. Everyone looked at him.
"What are you talking about?" Aspen asked.
"You know what I'm talking about", Thadden said.
"I don't. Care to enlighten me?" Aspen asked.
Thadden chuckled. He looked at Gatlin. "She's definitely Rey's daughter. And of course, Steve and Nat's child", Thadden said. Thadden looked at Aspen. "It's been days since you last spoke to each other".
"Well, we've all been busy. You know? You wouldn't understand. You're still trying to get Wanda to date you", Revera said.
"Can we not do this today? Me and Cal are trying to get cake", Pietro said.
"Shut the hell up. This is interesting", Loki said.
"Language!" Steve shouted.
"I will do no such thing", Loki said.
"No. This conversation is over and I am leaving", Aspen said as she walked out of the room. She stands on the balcony, looking at the sky.
She heard shouting. Aspen ran inside. She tried to go into the kitchen, but Natasha came out of the kitchen and stopped her.
"What's going on?" Aspen asked.
"Aspen, I don't want you to freak out", Natasha said.
"What's going on, Nat?" Aspen asked.
Revera and Thadden ran out of the kitchen. "Aspen", Natasha said. "Cal is working for HYDRA".
"What? No. No, no, no", Aspen said. Her voice breaks. Natasha hugs her.
