3. Training

Tony opens the door to a room. The room had a bed with purple covers and light purple pillows.

"It's not much, but once you settle in, we can talk about decorating if you want", Tony said.

"Thank you", Aspen said. She laid on the bed. "I just want you to know that I never meant to hurt anyone".

"I know, Aspen", Tony says.

"They hate me. The people hate me. They wanted me dead. They called me a monster. For a while, I wanted to die, but now I...I don't want to die", Aspen said. Purple energy swirled in her eyes.

"Hey, hey. It's okay", Tony says as he sits next to her. "You're safe here. No one's going to hurt you".

"Your friend doesn't seem to like me very much", Aspen said after she had calmed down.

"Okay, first off, I gotta say, he's not really my friend. And secondly, he hates everyone. Except the twins. Give him some time to get to know you. Then, he decides if he likes you or not", Tony said. Aspen nodded. "Alright, get some sleep. I don't want you to be late. You might piss off Reindeer games".

Aspen got under the covers. "Good night, Mr. Stark", Aspen said as Tony walked towards the door.

"Good night, kid", Tony says before he closed the door behind him.

The next day, Aspen was woken up by Tony and Steve. Aspen was given a black suit for training.

Aspen, Steve, Tony and Clint walked into the training room, where Thor and Loki were already waiting.

"Great, you're here", Loki said. Aspen walks toward him. Steve, Tony and Clint sat next to Thor. "Alright, Mortal, if I am going to be training you, here are the rules. Be here on time every Friday, dress properly, never smile and don't pay no mind to those three idiots". Loki pointed at Tony, Clint and Thor.

Loki summoned a bo staff to his hand. "Do I get one?" Aspen asked. Loki hits her in the head with his staff. "Ow!" Tony and Clint snorted. Aspen and Loki looked them.

Loki looks at Aspen. "Want them to stop sounding like pig? Block this staff with your powers", he says to Aspen. He hits her in the head with his staff.

"Ow! I wasn't ready!" Aspen protests. Her eyes turned red.

"That's the point", Loki said.

He hits her with his staff. The staff his Aspen in the stomach. She let's out a breath as she fell to the ground. Her eyes were now a light green with a yellow tint.

"They won't care if you're ready", Loki said.

"What was that about?" Aspen asked as she stands up.

"You're fine", Loki said before the staff hits Aspen in the leg. Aspen fell to one knee.

"Wow, he got someone to kneel", Tony says in shock. Clint nodded.

"Come on, Mortal", Loki said to Aspen.

"I don't think you understand the purpose of this training", Aspen says as she stands up. Before she could stand to her full height, Loki hits her with the staff, sending her falling again.

"Alright! Reindeer games, we told you to help her, not beat her", Tony said.

"Sorry. She's useless", Loki says. Aspen tried to blast a purple energy at him, but nothing came out of her hand.

Aspen sighed in frustration. Her eyes turned purple as she looks at her hand. A green energy pushed Aspen into a wall.

"Loki, that's enough!" Thor demanded.

"You don't know how to deal with kids",Tony said. "Can you please help her. For real this time. She's gone through enough. There's no need to upset her". Tony turns to look at Aspen, but she already gone.

Aspen sat on her bed. She heard a knock at the door. Aspen opens the door without getting up. Her eyes were light blue with a purple tint.

Steve came into the room. "Are you okay, Aspen?" He asks.

"Why does he hate me?" Aspen asked.

"He can be like that sometimes. It's not you and he doesn't hate you", Steve said. He sat next to her. "Loki has his own way of being helpful".

"Now I have to deal with him every Friday", Aspen said.

"I'll talk to him, Kid", Steve said. Steve walked out of the room, leaving Aspen by herself.
