Aspen sat on the couch with Wanda, Pietro, Peter, Loki, and Yelena. The 6 of them were watching "A Christmas Story" while Steve, Tony and Natasha were decorating the room.
"I can't believe all of this is happening because he said a bad word", Aspen said.
"That's why you should be careful", Steve said. Loki and Yelena rolled their eyes.
"Is he always a goody two shoes?" Yelena asked.
"Sadly yes", Natasha said.
"Well, you must enjoy it. You married him", Yelena said.
"You're married?" Peter asked.
"How long did it take for you to see the rings on their fingers?" Tony asked. Natasha and Steve held up their hands to reveal the ring of their fingers.
"You thought me and Steve were adopting a kid together just because?" Natasha asked.
"Yeah", Pietro and Peter said.
"What? How? Why?" Tony asked.
"Ooh, Aspen! This is my favorite part!" Wanda says excitedly.
Everyone turned their attention back to the movie.
"Yes that! Do you know where he heard it?"
"Probably from his father".
"No. He heard it from your son".
"WhAt?! WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAAAAT?!"
Aspen and Wanda laughed.
Then, you could hear the mother whooping her son on the other end of the phone.
Peter, Wanda, Pietro and Aspen fell to the ground, laughing. When they finally stopped and got off the ground, Pietro said, "Well, shit".
"Hey! You wanna be next?" Steve asked. Aspen snorted. "Watch your language".
"Shit", Tony said.
Steve glared at Tony. Tony ran out of the room with Steve chasing him. Natasha rolled her eyes.
"Go, Tony!" Aspen cheered.
"How can you laugh at a child being beaten?" Yelena asked. "I thought you were the good guys".
Natasha walked towards her. "Come on. Let's talk", She said to Yelena.
Wanda stands up. "I'm sorry. We didn't mean to upset her", Wanda said.
"I know. I'll talk to her", Natasha said as she and Yelena walked out the room.
"Everyone is to come to the Lab. Miss Petrova needs you. It's urgent", JARVIS said.
Aspen and her friends ran to the lab along with Tony, Steve, Natasha, Yelena and the rest of the Avengers.
When they got there, Thadden was trying to calm Bruce down and Gatlin was shouting at Revera.
"What is going on here?" Tony asked.
Bruce took a deep breath and said, "Rev is pregnant".
"Well, that's great, right?" Steve asked.
"I don't understand. Why are you so stressed, Mr. Banner?" Peter asked.
Revera looks down in guilt. "4 weeks ago, Bruce and I...we sort have had a thing", Revera explained.
"Bruce is the father of your baby", Wanda realized aloud.
"I refuse to believe that", Bruce said. Natasha noticed the green veins on his neck.
She steps in between Bruce and Revera. "Maybe this isn't a bad thing, Bruce. You're about to have a baby. And now, Rev and the baby-your baby-needs you", Natasha said.
"I'm sorry, Nat, but I can't take care of this baby. I can't be the father it needs me to be", Bruce said.
"So that's it? You're just going to give up on them both?" Aspen asked.
Bruce didn't look anyone in the eye. Not even Revera. Revera nodded sadly and walked out of the room.
"Petrova", Yelena said, following after her.
"I knew this would happen. I told her not to-"
"This has nothing to do with you", Aspen snapped at Gatlin.
"You can all go back to whatever you were doing. I'm sorry to interrupt", Bruce said.
Everyone started walking out of the room except for Aspen. "No", Aspen spatted. Everyone stopped and looked at her.
"You can't just give up on them. There's a reason why this happened. There's a reason why Rev is going to have your child. It's the universe's way of giving you a gift. And the fact that you won't except it, that is cowardice of you", Aspen argued.
Everyone looked at her in shock. "Aspen!" Wanda shouted.
"No! Someone has to tell him", Aspen said. She looks at Bruce. "You need to think about this! You always wanted to have a child".
"Aspen, I can't. What if that child is just like me? I've spread the Hulk disease to a innocent boy or girl. And what if I get angry in front of them? They could get hurt", Bruce said.
"If the kid is going to turn into the Hulk, it's going to need you. Not me, not Natasha, not Steve. You", Aspen said. "And secondly, the Hulk might be savage, but I don't think he would stoop that low".
"Aspen", Wanda said. She grabbed Aspen. "You need to stop this. It's wrong to call him a coward".
Bruce sighed. "No", he said. Wanda and Aspen looked at him. "I am being a coward".
Bruce walked out of the lab to find Revera and Yelena. He knocked on Rev's door. It was opened by Yelena.
"If you mess this up-"
"Yelena", Revera interrupted. "It's okay".
"No, it's not", Yelena said.
"She's right. It's okay. I came to apologize for my reaction earlier", Bruce said. He walked into the room. "I would like for us to be friends. And I would like for us to work together".
Revera looks at Yelena. "I'll be fine, Yelena. Thank you", Revera said. Yelena walked out of the room. Bruce looked at Yelena, only to see Yelena glaring at him while she closed the door and held up her middle finger.
The last thing Bruce saw were Yelena eyes before she closed the door.
There was a silence.
"Uh...", Bruce says nervously. "So, she's scary". Revera nodded in agreement. "What I'm trying to say Rev is I want to be here for you and the baby. I want to help you and I want to help the baby...whatever it's gender is".
Revera stands up and hugged Bruce. "Thank you for not giving up on me", Revera said. She sounded as if she were about to cry. Bruce returned the hug.
