I have officially changed Aspen's love interest. Either she won't have a love interest or I will give her an arc where Aspen realizes she isn't straight. I'm actually going to let y'all decide. So, part of Aspen's fate is in your hands.
Also, this chapter isn't much because I wanted to get it out, but I hope you still enjoy it.
Before the mission, Bruce approached Yelena, who was eating mac and cheese at the table.
"Can I talk to you?" Bruce asked.
"If this is about what happened, do not be mad at me for wanting to make sure your children and the mother of your children are safe! I care when I want to," Yelena said.
"I wasn't going to mention that", Bruce said. "I wanted to discuss something else".
"Well, you have my attention", Yelena said, pouring hot sauce onto her mac and cheese.
"Rev and I have been talking and...we both agree-well, she suggested it and I agreed that..." Yelena stared at Bruce with a death stare. "...we want you to be the godmother of our twins".
"What?"
"We would like you to be their godmother", Bruce said. Yelena doesn't say anything. "At-At least think about it". Without another word, Bruce walked away.

Steve and Aspen was woken up by Tony. "Get up, you two. We have a mission", Tony said.
They both up and went to the meeting room. Everyone made sure Aspen was no where near Cal, but Aspen wasn't complaining.
"Okay, the first base is located in Florida", Steve said. "Instead of blowing up everything, I want to make sure every HYDRA agent in that base is taken in. That means I'll call Fury and have him bring some helicarriers. We take out as many agents while also protecting Aspen".
"The heart of base is at the bottom floor. I'll take Wanda, Yelena, Sam, Aspen and Clint with me to destroy it", Natasha said.
"I'll take Bucky, Bruce, Rhodey, Pietro, Thor and Loki", Steve said. "Tony, I want you to stay with Cal in the Quinjet".
"Why do I have to stay with the traitor?" Tony asked.
"On the bright side, you'll get to hit him in the head if he tries anything", Natasha explained.
"That's a good thing", Wanda said.
"Look, I know everyone is mad at me, but I had a mission", Cal said. Everyone glared at him. "Listen, Aspen-"
"You don't get to talk to me!" Aspen snapped. "Let's get this over with".

The Quinjet arrives behind the trees next to the HYDRA base. Everyone except Tony and Cal left the ship.
"If I'm just going to stand here, why did you let me out of my cell?" Cal asked.
"Correction, Thadden let you out. We don't need you and as soon as we prove that, you're going back into the cellar", Tony said.
Steve and half of the team ran towards the base. In front of them, there was an army of soldiers.
Steve made the first move by throwing his shield. Aspen lifted an agent off the ground and slammed him to the ground. An agent tackled her to the ground. Aspen snaps his neck.
She stands up quickly and ran towards the base. She got surrounded by soldiers with guns. Aspen's purple magic went in every direction, disintegrating the soldiers.
Aspen tries to open the door to the base, but it's locked. Aspen rammed the door down with her magic. Aspen, Steve and Thor stepped inside. The HYDRA soldiers were taken out by purple magic, Mjolnir and the vibranium shield.
Natasha, Clint, Wanda, Yelena, Sam and Bucky stepped inside. "We could have done that. It would have saved you the hard work", Natasha said.
"Well, I thought you'd want an extra hand", Steve said.
Are they flirting? Right now?
"Hey, lovenerds. We got a mission", Yelena said.
Natasha gives Steve a flirtatious smirk before walking away with her team.
"Nat", Tony's voice said through the comms.
"What is it, Tony?"
"So, unfortunately, Thadden was right about needing the traitor. Only a member of his family can deactivate the launch", Tony said.
Aspen groaned. "Are you kidding me?" She asked. Natasha gave her a sad smile.
"Sorry, kid", Tony said.
"Bring him downstairs", Natasha said as she and the rest of her team ran down a flight of stairs.
The group heard footsteps approaching. Aspen stepped in front of everyone.
"I got this", Aspen said. A purple force field surrounds the ground. When the HYDRA agents stepped in the room, Aspen knocked them into the wall with her force field.
Natasha and Aspen led the team to a computer room. The group waited for Tony, while taking down every agent that came their way.
Finally, Tony came flying in his armor and threw Cal to the ground. "One traitor right here", Tony said to a low, angry tone.
Aspen thought about pointing a gun at him, but she shook that thought out of her head. "Deactivate the launch, or I'll blow your brains out", Aspen threatened.
To Aspen's surprise, Natasha pointed a gun at Cal. "Now", Natasha demanded.
Cal raised his hands slowly and stood up. He typed away on the computer and placed his hand on a scanner.
"Welcome, Callum E. Geraghty", the computer voice said. Cal types away at the computer until finally...
"Disengage launch. Launch disengaged by Mr. Geraghty".
The team runs out of the room, making sure not to take their eyes off Cal.
Aspen paused when she heard whispers. She looks around, but there was no one, but her and her team.
Something was coming towards her. Aspen could only hear the figure. "You can not escape me, Aspen", a deep voice said. Aspen turned to Natasha, only to see she was gone.
"Nat! Steve!" Aspen screamed. "Steve! HELP!"
"Aspen!"
Aspen's eyes shot open. She found herself on the Quinjet. Yelena stood by her side.
"Hey, it's me. It's your Auntie Yelena", Yelena said. Aspen looked around the ship. Cal sat in a seat by Tony, the twins stood on either side of Yelena. Clint and Natasha drove the jet. The rest of the Avengers sat in their seats.
"We're heading back to the tower", Wanda said, eyeing Aspen with concern.
Aspen nodded, but the thought of her dream clouded her mind.
