"I'm surprised you survived, Y/n. How have you been this past year? You are 13 now after all congrats." Her voice sounded tired, but the hatred was still there.

"How did you know it was me?" she laughed softly.

"Just because you look different doesn't mean that your mannerisms have changed. Your expressions are still the same, too." The demon who escorted you tapped your shoulder.

"Make haste. Grandmother doesn't like to be kept wait-"

"There's no need, I'm already here." a older woman's voice said. Everyone's attention shot to the older shorter woman in the room.

Shivers shot down your spine, even though you had no reason to be tense or afraid

Shivers shot down your spine, even though you had no reason to be tense or afraid. A larger demon approached behind her with that flower in hand. "Isabella, it's time." the demon announced turning towards the imprisoned woman.

"Yes, i believe so..." she said with a frozen smile on her face. She rose from her seat and approached the demon her eyes bowed as he enclosed the distance between the flower and her heart. Grandmother raised her hand he retreated backing away. You just watched silently.

"Do you want to see your kids again?" Grandmother asked. Isabella kept her head down.

"More than anything, but i suppose that is not possible in any way." Isabella answered truthfully.

"But it is. Retrieve the children and I can promise you that you will regain your position as mother and..." The grandmother leaned next to her ear and Isabella's face went into shock which soon turned into a malicious grin. Wait she wants her to get them from the wild, but then all their efforts....

"I'll do it!" the attention was now on you. You held your head up proudly, your fist clenched at your sides. "I'll bring them back, first myself. On my own. But if I do find them first, you have to promise to let me have a say on what happens to them." Isabella glared at you hard, you stared right back. I know they betrayed me, but I need to protect them in any way I can. I have to...

Grandmother smiled and turned  to you. "How do I know that you will not flee with them? Or perhaps eat them yourself?" One of the demon's stepped in.

"The One  actually was going to order the same thing. He even allowed them to drink of his blood to make sure that the urge would be put away. As for where they will be, He  has trusted them enough to leave any mention of a tracker out. No tracker was implanted upon entering the Farm either." he explained

"Oh? Well..." Grandmother looked to me then Isabella. "Competition never hurt anyone, did it? You shall embark whenever you please, but-" Without even hearing the rest of her sentence, you took off. You needed as much time as you could get.

You weren't smart or tactical like Isabella, Norman, or Ray. You weren't half as caring and familiarly agile as Emma, but you were a demon. The one thing that they weren't and you could use that. You could train along the way and get stronger as you went. They could be anywhere and you'd never been outside before, so you needed this.

And maybe just maybe... they would take you back, before you had to take them back. Maybe you wouldn't have to bargain with the other demons. Maybe you could escape with them from your fate. Your appearance was undeniable, but so was your emotions. You picked up your pace as you burst through the Headquarters' doors and crossed the bridge. The strong new scents overwhelming you, the blurred images of all of the wilderness you were passing.

...

"Well, I was going to say that they have been suspected to be at the coordinates B - 61. Too bad. What an impatient child. No food or water, not even clothing garments or protection. Not one compass either. I'm curious, are you worried Isabella?" Isabella smiled maniacally.

"I will be expected that promise, Grandmother. I will get those children and see him again. But just as they have made a deal, I would also require something more."

"Oh~? Well what is it child?"

"If they betray you and Him allow me to take their life in anyway I would like."

"Hmm... If you get the children back as well, I'll consider it." Isabella smiled evilly.

"Thank you, Grandmother."

"Hurry those institutions and their tests are no light task. Their quite the heavy troublesome burden." Isabella bowed and head out to prepare herself for the journey ahead. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be the first to find and bring back those kids. There is no way such an inexperienced child can defeat me, but... I will  not underestimate them. I have learned my lesson.

...

You'd been running at full force for a good 20 minutes and now you were undoubtedly lost. You don't know why you thought that running aimlessly would help you out, but it was too late now. Ah! Now I'm probably gonna take even longer to find them, ughhhhh! Okay just calm down. Familiarize yourself and go from there. Where's your compass- You were shocked when you didn't feel the small circular watch in your pocket. "Uwahhhh!!!! I didn't grab it!!!This is bad! I'm so dumb. I really just rushed off without anything, grrrr!" You stomped your feet on the ground furiously, pulling at your horns in frustration.

After you got that out, you cooled off and began to look around. Now that you were paying attention, there were so many creatures that you'd never seen before. You were sure that they were probably in some of the books back at the House, but seeing them up close was much more satisfying. There was this really slimy dark floaty creature that stuck and slithered along the trees. Speaking of the trees, they were huge, like giants towering over everything. You looked around and saw that the forest stretched out quite a bit. They could be anywhere.

Your mood started to dim as you began to realize what you agreed to and what you had just taken on. I just rushed out, I didn't even hear the rest of her sentence. What if it was a clue to where they were?  You felt tears swell. No! This is no time to feel sorry for myself. I have to find them no matter what. Even if I have to be the bad guy to do it. I will find them.  THUMP THUMP THUMP!

The ground beneath you started to shake. "What in the world..." As you turned to see what was causing it, you came face to face with biggest demon you'd seen in the past hour. You tried to talk to it, but when i roared and began charging towards you, your instincts told you to run and once again you were off. Running aimlessly.
