Chapter 11: Train Ride

I'm a senior in Highschool and I have about 3 weeks of school left before I go out in the world alone. Narrator POV

---Last time on Love and War 2!---

Macie was shown her life dealing with two squid for brains as members of the Mafia freedom fighters! Their goal was to clean the base up before Dante arrived home...Let's just say things didn't turn out the best for the group... The next day begins with the house of Mr. and Mrs. Spletzer! Erm...They're still not married?? *Begins to speak with producer* Alright then carry on! 

Cue the anime intro!

Narrator POV

After the recent day with the Mafia, time has passed into the next day where Inkopolis was experiencing a thunder storm! The weather changes are not very common. Off the Hook was doing their job and announcing some things for the day before returning back to the HQ. A crowd of squids and kids lingered near the underside of buildings with brellas to protect their tentacles from the water. Soon, the enormous monitor on top of the lobby flickered to show Pearl and Marina safely dry. The table behind them had two chairs, the table had hot chocolate mugs on both ends. With a nice greeting from the two, they began to speak.

Pearl: What's kracken people of the beautiful city! it's ya girl Pearl on the mic! 

Marina: Pearl...This is a news broadcast, not a concert. She said snickering.

Pearl: Everyday is a concert Marina! Anyway, let's see them stages yo! 

As she said, Marina began to turn her turn table records to show a screen with a rain icon pulsating to indicate the weather.

Marina: Oh? Would ya look at that

Pearl: What the shell?! They closed off turf war?! 

Marina: Sorry folks, the water out there will burn ya skin and wash the ink away! How unfortunate...

Pearl: Yep. Rain equals pain so don't be stupid and try anything out there people! 

Suddenly, an inkling in a tux and sunglasses approached Marina and whispered something into her ear. She held her green fingers up to his mouth to hear him. A few nods and a soft smile appeared on her face. The squid walked away and closed the studio door. 

Marina: That'll be all today! 

Pearl and Marina: Don't get cooked, stay off the Hook! 

The lobby monitor switched off, leaving people a bit disappointed. Sheldon was standing outside ammo knights just watching the rain pour like a mother. Inklings and octolings scrambled to stay dry under buildings and to their own homes. Sheldon's assistant came rushing out to see the ruckus. 

Cindy: Master! Why is it the town is running so much?

He turned around to look up at her. Her face blocked by some nice looking honkers.

Sheldon: The rain is really coming down. The weather is what's making people run to their house, heh. His voice sounding nerdy as usual.

Cindy: Oh! I think it looks pretty! And it smells good! Her cute nose wiggled and took in some whiffs.
