Chapter 5: Mansion Mishap

Narrator POV

--The night of the General Spade interview--

The mysterious Mafia had just left the roof top of Ammo Knights. The cool breeze felt ominous that night...Just before the group left, their leader Dante had stopped to turn around and watch the general walk away with two popular pop stars, Pearl and Marina known as Off the Hook.

Dante: ...Tch

He then jumped off the ledge to join his crew. Seems theis Spade guy is really bothering Dante's mental health...But why?

General Spade POV

Spade and the two girls were approaching a giant looking mansion! What a glorious sight indeed!

Marina: So Mr. Spade, right before you is our wonderful home!

Pearl: It's truly a remarkable building of squid kind~ I'd call it a historical relic in 20 years, heh

All the general did was stare blankly at it. His eyes grey with a cold look to them.

Spade: ...

Pearl looked up at him.

Pearl: Uh? Dude? You look like you saw your mother naked

Marina: PEARL!

Spade: So...How did it take you two to earn such a space?

Marina: Oh! Well it did take a long time. Many shows and songs we went to sing to earn as much coin as we could! Turns out eventually we would be able to afford this

Pearl: Mostly because I spit fire!

Marina lowered her eyes as she watched pearl boast.

Spade: I do not understand the small one's metaphors...I am intrigued however, miss Marina

Pearl: Hey! I have a name y'know! It's Pearl

Spade: Alright. Pearl...

Pearl: Why don't you come on in Spade?? Or should I walk you in?!

Spade: That won't be necessary...

Marina could feel the tense anger between them.

Marina: Pearl, leave him be. Mr. Spade. Right this way please

They both huffed and crossed arms as they didn't dare look or talk to each other as they walked into the beautiful mansion. The front door swung open and the three were immediately greeted by a fancy living room with a giant wide screen TV. Pearl had some games hooked up to it as well Marina's soap operas on DVD.

Marina: Welcome! Heheh. Mr. Spade, you may take a seat right here on the couch and I'll start up drinks! Pearl? Any recommendations?

Pearl thought about it.

Pearl: Whatever poisons this guy--

Spade: Escuse me?!

Marina: *Sigh* Alright I have an idea. Pearl, be nice to this brave man and get him anything he needs!
