Chapter 18: Search Party

Last time on Love and War 2! 

Spade had instructed Craig on what his beliefs may be on the Squidbeak's current actions. Not too happy, Spade began to explain why he thinks the Squidbeak may be pulling violent actions to try and stop enemies. Craig however believes it's fine as long as no one was hurt... Not agreeing with the original Cap'n, Spade thinks to himself on how he may be able to change the way things work around here...

Narrator POV

Morning has approached in the house of our lovely couple. Agent 4 and Marie would snug as bug in their double bed. The window in the room was left open slightly for air flow, blowing Marie's curtains swiftly. Her rhythmic breathing on Leon's chest as she held him close was the cutest thing ever! Leon too was snuggled calmly above her. All was peaceful...All was sound...All was--

Callie: GIVE IT BACK SKARLET!! 

Skarlet: Aww what's wrong~? Just jump a little, hehe

In the kitchen, Skarlet had been teasing Callie with her squid phone., raising it above the smaller squid girl. 

Callie: Stop it! You know I can't reach most things!

Skarlet: C'mon! You're almost there!

She was on her tippy toes trying to reach for it. You're probably wondering why she was doing this? Wll, Callie had downloaded fan art of Leon from the internet... Skarlet wanted to snoop through her gallery to embarrass her. 

Callie: Mmmh! Why are you doing this!? Last night we were buddies!

Skarlet: Yeah, until you climbed on top of Leon in his sleep without me! 

Callie: Yeah! Because you're double D boobs would kill him!

Skarlet: *Gasp* How DARE you bully my girls! 

She raised the phone higher as Callie only huffed and puffed to grab it. 

Callie: SKARLET! PLEEEEEEEASE! 

The constant high pitched squeals coming from Callie echoed through out the house. So much in fact, It shook the walls...

Leon: Zzzz.... mmh...Mhh?

Our hero slowly opened an eye to the yelling. He could hear a female voice shreik over and over. 

Leon: Ugh...What now...

He leaned up carefully as to not disturb the sleeping beauty beneath him. Slowly, he swung his left arm over her to pull himself up, then he used his right arm to---

Leon: ARRRRGH!

Marie: HUH WHAT??? 

Pain! Massive pain in his right arm! Leon held it which caused him to fall back into the pillows. Marie shot up breathing heavily to his outburst. She frantically looked around with bloodshot eyes from deep sleep. Then, she looked up too see Leon's face scrunched from the massive surge of pain he endured. 

Marie: Ugh...L-Leon? Was that you who screamed..? She said rubbing her eyes.

Leon: S-Sorry Marie, guh...My arm feels like it's going to fall off...
