Narrator POV

8:00am-The day after Leon and Marie finished unboxing.

Dawn of a new morning! The air outside was sweet and salty from the ocean water. Inkopolis was looking well it seemed. In the new home of our heroes, Callie was up and awake making waffles for everyone. All except for Leon and Marie, knowing well they are fans of the fluffy delicacy. Cute hums left her mouth as a happy squid girl flipped one into the air.

Callie: 🎶 Faces blushing, pancakes flipping, squidbeak knows how to give a good whipping 🎶

Skarlet: Ughhhh...

Again, a drowsy looking Skarlet Rose waddled her way past Callie and opened the fridge. Callie spun around as her tentacles wiggled.

Callie: Goodmorning 9!

Skarlet: Hi...

Callie: Could I do something for you?

Skarlet closed the fridge while scarffing down a jug of milk.

Skarlet: Your positive energy makes me sick...She said as she drank more.

Callie: Your not stopping me that easily, hehe. I made you a plate of waffles if that's what you like!

Skarlet: Thank you Cal. All of that heavy box lifting really does a number to your backside

Callie: Oh beileve me, it's already hard enough to lift twigs off the ground

Skarlet: R-Right. Anyway, I'm thinking some TV while I wait for Mr. Hero to wake up shall keep me busy, heh

Callie: Leon? He should be getting up any minute. I have his and Marie's plate set up as well (Leon should love his, hehehe)

Setting the milk down and walking out of the kitchen, Skarlet plopped her round rear unto the couch.

The wide screen TV Leon won with his turf war money switched on showing a pre-recording of what happend two nights ago.(You would think it would be live because well...It's the news) It showed Off the Hook talking to a strange looking old man. Suddenly, this caught Skarlet's attention.

Without realizing it, she had sat criss cross with her hands in her lap all cute like.

Callie: Everything is almost prepared! Now to just wait for Leon to wake up...

Leon POV

Laying back on the frame, mouth wide open, tentacles slicked back even when he was asleep, Leon was still in deep sleep. But not for long.
