Childhood best friends

I had been waiting for him... For my best friend to come back to me, I had lived in Australia since I was a child and couple of years ago, my best friend left to live in Korea.

Recently, I decided that I wanted to move to Korea to peruse my dream of becoming a kpop idol and that's exactly what I did.

I left my home, my friends and also my hope of seeing him again, the hope of seeing my best friend, Jake Sim, I left it all behind and moved to Korea, meeting new friends there.

Because I was a foreigner and I didn't have family living in Korea, I moved into a dorm with some other trainees and luckily enough, we were all put into the same group, we were all put into the group of debut trainees.

The five of us were all chosen to be in the debut group, this group consisted of myself, I was the second oldest, the eldest being Minyoung unnie, then we also had Jinyoung, Yena and Lia.

Minyoung was born in 2000, myself in 2002, Jinyoung in 2004 and both Yena and Lia being born in 2006.

The five of us trained very hard and long everyday to make sure that we were all ready and able to debut as a group together, making us all very close to each other.

I had now been living in Korea for about a year and it really did feel like home to me, today we were going to starting on a collab with some of our seniors, BTS, TxT and also Enhypen, the new rookie group.

"Y/N unnie! Where are you?!" I heard Yena calling for me as she left her room and came into the lounge area.

"I am in the kitchen!" I yelled back at her, informing her of my location, to which she entered the kitchen and sat down at the dining table, waiting for me to finish up cooking breakfast for everyone.

"I am so excited to meet our seniors today! Do you think they'll help us much? Do you think we'll be allowed to ask many questions?" Yena asked me and I just laughed at her, shaking me head before plating all of the food and putting it onto the dining table as everyone started entering and taking their seats.

"With the amount of talking you do, I might advise that you keep the questions to a minimum, okay Yena?" I advised her and she only chuckled but agreed to my advice and agreed that she wouldn't ask too many questions.

After we all ate, I was the only who was still in my pyjamas, so I left them all in the lounge and went to get myself dressed for today.

After getting myself ready, I left my room and went into the lounge, rounding everyone up and ushering them all out of the house, down into the parking lot and into the car, seating myself into the drivers seat and making sure everyone was buckled in.

"Right, let's get there on time today" I mumbled to myself before I started driving to the company, this was only my third time driving to the company, the first two times I got a little lost and we were over ten minutes late, today I wasn't going to let that happen.

Thankfully, we were on time and I didn't get lost either.

I parked the car and we all got out, quickly entering the company and being greeted by staff, we asked which room we had to at and then we left to go to that room, 210.

As we started getting closer to the door, my hands started shaking and they also started getting clammy because I was really nervous and had no idea what to say or do.

"You'll be fine Y/N" Minyoung took my clammy hand and she caressed it, calming me down as I smiled at her softly.

Minyoung placed her hand on the doorknob and opened the door and we were met with the faces of BTS, TxT, Enhypen and our three choreographers, our CEO, PD-Nim and our singing instructor.

Everyone bowed to each other before we made our way over to the middle of the studio, where the other three groups also were.

"Okay, so. We are going to leave the room for a little so you can all get to know each other a little, okay?" PD-Nim told us and the six of them left the room, whilst we were all left alone together.

"So! Why don't we get in a circle and introduce ourselves, say our name and the year we were born?" RM suggested and everyone seemed to agree with it, we all got into a circle and everyone started to say their names and ages.

"Hello! I am Jake Sim and I was born in 2002" My eyes went wide as I realised who just spoke, my best friend, the one who I hadn't seen for at least three years now.

"H-Hi, my n-name is Y/N L-Lee, I am born in 2002" I stumbled over my words and a few of the older ones tired to slightly clam me down as they realised how nervous I was to actually be there.

Once everyone had introduce themselves, we all got up and everyone started to talk whilst I stayed quiet and stuck to Minyoung unnie's side, like glue.

I listened as she spoke effortlessly with everyone else in the room, I felt slightly jealous but didn't care too much.

"Ah! So your Jake, Jay and Sunghoon, right? I am Minyoung and this is Y/N, she doesn't like to talk much. Actually, have you even spoken since you introduced yourself?" She asked me and I only replied by sheepishly shaking my head, causing her to face palm and sigh loudly, the three boys chuckling.

"Hey erm Y/N, could I talk to you for a second?" I turned my head and noticed that Jake was the one speaking, I nodded my head and the two of us moved away from the groups of people, being by ourselves at the side of the room.

He pulled me in for a tight hug and he placed his hand on the back of my head and pecking my head, a large smile appearing on my face as I looked up at him.

My eyes wandered from his eyes to his lips then back up to his eyes, he seemed to noticed this and moved his head forwards, leaning in and eventually making our lips meet for a kiss.

"It's been so long! I wanted to ask you this on the day I left but I didn't get a chance. Will you be my girlfriend Y/N Lee?" He asked me as he pulled away and I nodded my head like an excited puppy before he pulled me in for another hug.

"Finally!" He said and that made me smile even more because I had him back and now he was mine.
