Liar Liar

The bright light of the sun awoke me from my slumber as someone opened my bedroom door and sat at the end of my bed.

"Good morning nugget" my sister patted my leg under my duvet and I groaned in sadness as my boyfriend had broken up with me just the day before.

"How you feeling?" She asked me and I wasn't going to lie to her, I was going to be honest.

"I feel like shit... He told me that he just fell out of love with me but I don't know" I told her and she nodded her head, rubbing my leg with her hand before patting down on it and getting up from my bed.

"Welp. I'm sorry that all of that happened nugget but mum and dad are making you go to school" she sighed and I nodded my head in understatement so I got up from my bed and headed into my bathroom, showering quickly before looking into my mirror.

"Fucking hell do I have hella bags under my eyes. Okay, it is fine, I'll make an effort so that way he doesn't see that I am seriously affected by him" I sike myself up in the mirror before I walk out of my bathroom and into my closet to get a nice outfit for the day ahead of me.

After I finished up getting ready, I walked down to my living room where I was met with my older sister, no parents in sight which meant that they had already left for work.

"Here. Pancakes" Aria handed me a plate of pancakes with a dollop of whipped cream on top of them, she was only a year older than me but she honestly felt more like a mother to me than my actual mother.

"Hurry up and eat them though because I don't want us to be late to school, okay?" She stroked my hair and I nodded my head at her before eating my breakfast.

"You look very pretty by the way, just thought I would let you know" Aria complimented me and I smiled up at her and she smiled back down at me before she gave me a little side hug, I finished eating so she took my plate away from me and washed it quickly whilst I went and got my backpack.

The two of us grabbed our keys and left the house, Aria locking the door behind us.

We walked down the road, Aria linking our arms together like she did every single time we walked to school together.

"Keep a smile on your face and don't let anything get to you, okay?" Aria gave me some advice and I nodded my head as we came up to the front gates of the school.

Immediately, all eyes were on me, Aria let go of my arm and went over to her friend group whilst I went over to mine, Heeseung not being there yet.

"Hey bun, how are you?" Sunoo gave me a hug and I gave him a genuine smile because it was always so sweet of him to always ask me if I was okay.

"I am fine. I was hurt by him but I don't want to ruin everyones mood and I don't want him or anyone else know that it got to me" I told him my little plan and he smiled at me, as did everyone else in the group, and he gave me another hug.
