Ice princess

Today was yet another day of me going to the ice skating rink and skating, helping younger ones with their routines and teaching classes.

I was a figure skater and had been since I was about six years old, now I was eighteen and I have been skating for twelve years, I had won hundreds of medals and trophies over my years of competing in competitions.

The loud sound of my younger cousin woke me up from my peaceful sleep, I looked up and he was at the end of my bed, jumping up and down as he patted my legs.

"Get ready! We're going to be late! I wanna meet Sunghoon Hyung! He's from my favourite kpop band and he's going to be at the ice rink with them all today! Come on, come on, come on!" He moved and jumped onto my stomach, a very loud and groggy groan leaving my mouth as I pushed him of me gently and sat up straight.

"I'm up. Let me get dressed then we can leave, alright? Go and get changed" I told him and within the blink of an eye, he was gone and out of my room, going off and getting ready.

I rubbed my eyes, stretched my bones and yawned before I got off of my bed and slowly made my way into my bathroom, freshening up before changing.

I decided on wearing someothing simple and casual as I couldn't be bothered today, it wasn't like I was trying to impress anyone anyway.

After I finished getting ready, I left my room and went into the lounge, my cousin and my aunt both being there, he jumped off the couch and ran over to me before grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the house.

The two of us walked down he streets and we made our way quickly but carefully over to the large ice skating rink, getting in and getting our skates on.

My cousin quickly got onto the ice as I stood at the side lines, watching him for a little whilst I drank a coffee to wake myself up, a familiar figure catching my eye.

"Y/N? Is that you?" The voice I hadn't heard in a few years, Kim Sunoo, I turned around and was met with him and six other boys, my eyes widened before I smiled at him.

Sunoo approached me with a large and bright smile before he embraced me in a tight and meaningful hug, to which I returned but quickly pulled away from when I heard a small Yelp.

My cousin had fallen on the ice, I quickly got into the ice and skated over to him before I picked him up, asked if he was alright and took him off the ice and onto the side lines.

"Aish! You need to be more careful Yeongsan! Auntie will kill me if you get hurt! Are you alright?" I inspected him whilst also scolding him, hearing a slight chuckle come from my left.

"You haven't changed Y/N" Sunoo sat down next to my little cousin and I only sent him a death glare, he laughed at me and shook his head.

"Me and my members are here to skate because we have a free day off today, can we join you? Or more like, do you want to join us?" Sunoo offered and I looked to my cousin, debating whether or not we should join them, but I didn't get a chance to answer.
