When you break up

Kim Sunoo

"Yah! Sunoo! You can't just throw things around like that! I have to clean up after all of you!" I scolded my boyfriend as he ignored me and continued to fool around with the Maknae Line, throwing things around and making a mess of the place.

"Yah! You three!" I tried to gain their attention but they continued to ignore my words and presence.

I sighed heavily in frustration before I groaned and stormed out of the room, going into the kitchen, where the four older boys were cooking dinner for all of us.

My legs carried me over to my best friend, Park Sunghoon, the two of us had been best friends since we were little kids, so I was very comfortable with him and I always talked with him when I was sad or needed someone to talk to.

I wrapped my arms around his torso and back hugged him as I placed my head on his back.

"Hello small human. What's wrong? Why are you upset now?" He chuckled before he turned around and looked down at me.

"The younger ones are ignoring me and are making a mess, Sunoo started it and he won't listen to me, as always" I complained and he sighed before chuckling at me, ruffling my hair and smiling.

A scoff was heard in the doorway, I turned my head and noticed that Sunoo was standing with his hands on his hips, looking at both Sunghoon and I.

"So you cheating on me with Sunghoon Hyung? Really?!" Sunoo asked me in a sassy tone and all I could do was let go of Sunghoon, stare at him for a second then rub my nose with my thumb and index finger, sighing again.

"No, Kim Sunoo! I would never cheat on you! He is my best friend and I was upset, so I went to him for a little bit of comfort!" I tried to keep my cool as I told the boy what was happening, he only scoffed again and rolled his eyes.

"You could have just come to me for comfort, I am your boyfriend!" Sunoo complained and crossed his arms over his chest, Sunghoon shook his head and continued doing what he was doing before.

"You never listen or pay attention to me Sunoo! How am I supposed to get comfort from you when all you do is do the exact opposite of everything I ask you to do!" I threw my hands up in the air whilst I looked at him in disbelief, waiting for him to say something, but he didn't, he stayed silent.

"I always listen to you!" Sunoo tried to deny but I laughed slightly at him before scoffing.

"Is that so?! Well a few minutes ago, I was asking you to stop fooling around because you were making a mess with the younger ones. You didn't listen then! I told you yesterday that I was coming over today and then again, you didn't listen! You never do Sunoo!" I told him and he looked to the floor as he suddenly started to recall all the times he hadn't payed attention to me and simply ignored me.

"God dammit Sunoo! Say something!" I let out an angry and frustrated sigh as I ran my fingers through my long dark locks, tugging at it slightly.

"I think we should break up" was the only thing that he dared to mumble, my eyes went wide and the boys all stopped what they were doing.

The four older boys turned to look at Sunoo and I, mainly looking at me to see my reaction and looking at Sunoo to see if he was being serious about breaking up with me.

"A-are you serious S-Sunoo?" I questioned him, really hoping that he wasn't being serious and this was just some sort of joke or nightmare.

"Yes Y/N, I am being serious, I think we should break up" he didn't even stutter when he spoke those words, I felt my heart break in two as I took a step back.

"I- y-you can't be s-serious! W-why?" Tears started forming in my eyes as I looked at Sunoo, who only sighed and looked to the floor, not wanting to even make eye contact with me whilst he told me his reasons.

"As you said, I don't listen to you, I ignore you and you deserve someone better than that. Plus, I think I've fallen out of love Y/N. I am sorry but it's best this way, for both of us" Sunoo admitted and that completely broke me in two, my breathing started getting heavier and tears started rolling down my cheeks.

I quickly came around and I left the kitchen, pushing past Sunoo and walking past the youngest two, putting my shoes on at the door and putting my jacket on, leaving their dorm.

My eyes were clouded with tears as I quickly walked down the street and walked to the nearest park, sitting down in the grass and looking out over the river as I cried.

The rain soon started and I continued to stay where I was, sobbing as I sat down on the grass, the rain going through my clothes and through my jacket, my tears were mixed in with the rain.

I didn't care at all and I sat on the muddy grass, my jeans and clothes soaked, my hair all went and ruined, tears streaming down my face as I choked on my own sobs.

"Y/N! Come on, get up! I am taking you home and staying there with you! God dammit Y/N!" The familiar voice of Sunghoon scolded me as he put an umbrella over my head and put an arm around my waist, lifting me up.

He took me all the way back to my house and he told me to shower whilst he made me something to eat and he also forced me to take medicine so I couldn't get sick.

"You should've just asked me to take you home" Sunghoon came into the dining room with a bowl of soup and a few other foods as he placed them on the table and sat down in front of me, looking at me with a sad yet sympathetic look on his face.

I shrugged my shoulders and ate the food that he made for me.

"Okay, okay. Just, promise me that you'll eat when I am not here, okay? I'll be checking in on you once a week to make sure you've eaten" Sunghoon warned me as he got up from the seat and moved closer to me, he kissed my forehead before he left me alone in my house.

I put the spoon down and I started to cry again, I couldn't get over the fact that I was now lonely again and Sunoo had broken up with me.
