Brothers best friend

Y/N POV:

It was a normal day today, I got out fo bed and went down to the kitchen to eat my breakfast, my mother, father and two older brothers weren't here, as always.

I was very excited for today because I got to see Ni-ki again, we always danced together, specially on weekends but he couldn't manage last weekend because he had a dance compitition, which was out of town so I couldn't even go and support him, which sucked.

My little dog, rosie, came up to me and she let out a little yelp, I smiled and crouched down to her level to give her little head tickles before I went over to her food bowl and filled it up with her breakfast.

"You'll get to see Riki after school today, I am sure of it!" I petted the little dogs head before I walked away from her and grabbed some bread, butter and jam, I was in a little bit of a rush so I decided to just eat something small and simple.

"Bye, bye little one" I waved goodbye to my little dog, closing the door behind me and locking it.

The walk to school was short and quiet but it didn't last long as I came to the enterance of the school and saw all of my friends standing there, everyone except Ni-ki.

"Hey guys! Where is NI-ki? There is like 5 minutes before school starts" I said hello to the group before asking them about Ni-ki, I needed to know if he was sick, if he was just skipping or if he was just late.

"I don't know but he said he was coming into school today, think he is preparing to confess to his crush today" Jake nudged Heeseung's arm and I felt my heart completely shatter at those words, Heeseung's eyes widened, just like everyone else's.

They all knew I had a crush on Ni-ki, everyone but Jake because I knew all he would do is tease me to death so I never told him.

"w-what? He has a c-crush?" I managed to spit out, my eyes tearing up at the mere thought of Ni-ki having feelings, being in love with someone else, I felt my knees go weak.

"Yeah! Of course he does! You didn't know? Ohhhhh, that's why he never spoke about the girl whilst you were around, because he hadn't told you about her yet!" Jake chuckled a little and ruffled my hair and made it a mess, he was only making things worse and my heart was breaking more and more with every word he was saying.

"I'm going to c-class" I muttered out, hanging my head low and running away from the group, I ran through the halls and immediatley went to the girls bathroom to cry my eyes out.

Whilst I was silently crying, I decided that I was not going to be going to first period because he was in my class and I couldn't bear to see him because I knew my heart would shatter more, I would feel more broken and I would just breakdown in front of the whole damn class.

Before I knew it, the bell for second period rang and I wiped away my tears, quickly making my way out of the bathroom and I walked to the dance studio because that was the class that I had next.

Everyone was crowding the halls and I felt like eyes were on me almost every second of the time it took me to walk to my second period class, I kept my head low.

"Y/N! Where were you first period?" I heard the sound of Ni-ki's voice come from behind me and I kept walking, in fact I started walking faster because I was afraid of him seeing me like this, broken, vulnerable, heartbroken.

"Y/N! Don't ignore me! What's happened?" He took a hold of my wrist and he spun me around to face him, he lifted up my head and saw my red, puffy, tear stained eyes and he caressed my cheek with his thumb as he looked at me with sadness and worry.
