I was sitting in my hospital bed with Spencer whose legs I was currently sitting in between. We spent the first week of my recovery together him never leaving my side.
A week ago hotch made him go back to work so he's been visiting as much as he can. It's been as fun as it can be sitting in a hospital bed for two weeks.
Me and Spencer watched all the Tom Hiddleston movies, and I made him come up with a secret handshake, which he sucks at, but he's trying. I even introduced him to tik tok, and I don't think he likes it but he's been pretending to like it for me.
"Hey Spencer do you wanna braid my hair?" I asked, and he lifted his chin from on top of my head
"I don't know how to"
"I can teach you"
"What if I mess up your hairs so perfect I don't wanna ruin it"
"Spence you won't as long as you do it then it will stay perfect"
"Ok" he said as smile at me and kissed the top of my head
"Ok so grab three strands of hair"
"Got it next step"
"And start criss crossing them" I pulled out my phone to use it as a mirror. I saw Spencer concentrating intensely. he had his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth, and he was squinting his eyes
"Ok how's this" he help up a piece to show me. He could use a lot of help
"Perfect"
"Yes!" He shouted getting all excited and I laughed at him
"Now do it with the rest of my hair"
"Ok ok but I need complete focus so if you talk for the next five minutes I won't be listening" he gave me a kiss on the forhead
"Ok" as I said that the doctor came in
"Ok Avery it looks like you're good to go home today, you just need to take it easy and come in for a physical in two weeks."
"No way that's great Spencer did you hear that" he didn't answer and I looked back at him
"No don't move you'll mess up your hair"
"Ok I'll tell him later. So when can I have sex?" Spencer looked up. Of course that's what got his attention
"Not yet but if all looks good at your next check up I'll give you the all clear"
"Ugh" I said leaning my head back
"Avery you need to recover"
"I agree with your boyfriend on this one but don't worry the next two weeks will go bye soon"
