I feel like the girl is very laid back and reserved and never lets anyone walk over her. As much as she tries to hide her feelings, one wrong word would make her crack. She seems very timid, however can be a bad bitch if needed. She hasn't ever really had many friends, or a family home, so she's extremely determined and independent.
We begin to learn more about her as the chapters continue, and we learn how she has to fight for herself, and we see how she develops. Further on, we learn more about her family life, and we finally figure out who she was writing about that makes her scared of loving someone

Jacob is a very outgoing, yet shy lad. He finds a lot of comfort in his music and fans. Jacob isn't the most outgoing when comparing him to his band mates, and we see how he sort of doesn't really give a shit about anyone or anything. He parties a lot with his band mates, and we finally see his true colours later on.
In the upcoming chapters, we discover Jacobs past, and how it differs from the versions he has told Y/N. We see how he comes out of his shell, and how he steps up to be the best he can for whoever it's needed for.
