"Addie! Have you heard?" Neville shouted. "Ginny is in the Chamber!"
Adeline ran up to him, pulling her cardigan on.
"Really?" She ran up to him panicking.
"Will she be alright?" Adeline asked.
"I don't know!" Neville answered, stressing out.
"I wonder if Ron knows." mutters Adeline.
"I'm sure he does." Neville tells her. "Everyone's talking about it."
"I'm worried for Ginny, though." Neville says.
"Me too." Says Adeline. "I'll be back."
Adeline runs through the corridor.
"RON!" She shouts.
Ron turns around.
"Did you hear about.. um.. Ginny..?" Adeline says, awkwardly.
"Yes." Said Ron, terrified. "Harry will she be ok?"
Harry shrugs his shoulders.
"That's what I don't know." Harry tells him.
"What if she isn't?" Ron says, trembling.
"The professors won't just let her die. I'm sure of it, Ron." Adeline tells him.
Ron nods.
"Shouldn't you all be in bed?" Shouts a familiar voice.
Adeline turns around.
"Malfoy. Shouldn't you be in bed?" Adeline tells him, frowning.
"Uhm.. Well yes but I'm not." He replies.
"There you go then." She says, turning her back on him.
"Uh.. Sorry?" He tells her.
"Wow. Draco Malfoy just apologised to me." Adeline joked.
"Don't get used to it." Draco says.
"I've a feeling you owe a lot of people an apology." Adeline tells him firmly.
"No!" He tells her.
She rolls her eyes.
"Isn't Ginny in the Chamber?" Draco asked, changing the conversation.
"Yes, did you put her in there?" Harry asks him, joking.
"Of course not." Draco says. "I'm not some cruel sociopath."
"Really?" Says Ron. "That's a shock."
Draco rolls his eyes. "Goodnight." He fakes a smile.
"What's up with him?" Harry asks.
"I'm not sure. Seems nicer than usual." Ron says. "Normally he'd be poor-shaming me or something."
Ron laughs.
"Yeah. I mean he actually apologised for something." Adeline says.
"Soft spot for you, then!" Ron jokes.
"Shut up, you can't be serious? He calls me a mudblood every five minutes." Adeline says, rolling her eyes.
"Alright then!" Ron says, smirking.

Up in Gryffindor tower, Adeline was staring out of the window, into the darkness of the night sky. Looking at the stars.
"What are you doing, still up?" Parvati whispered to Adeline.
"Oh. I can't sleep." Adeline says.
"Then get in to bed rather than sitting by the window. It's cold there." Parvati tells her.
"Right.. Um, sorry." Says Adeline, climbing in to bed, honestly not tired at all.

Adeline jumped out of bed, in the morning.
It was warmer today, the sun shone into the small Gryffindor dormitory.
"Did you get to sleep okay, last night?" Parvati asks her, pulling on a knitted sweater.
"Yes." Adeline lies. She was thinking about why everything seemed empty at Hogwarts recently.
"ADELINE!" Neville shouts, bursting into the Gryffindor common room that evening.
"H-Harry and Ron!" He stutters, out of breathe.
"What?" Adeline asks, getting up from the chair. "Are they hurt?"
"No.. Well I don't know!" Neville says. "They broke into the Chamber of Secrets! Ginny's ok!"
Adeline smiled. "Thank god Ginny's okay!"
"Yeah. Harry fought a basilisk!" Neville said.
"Gosh, Neville. You really do have all the gossip." Adeline joked.
