"Don't be so hard on him, Addy." Pansy said.

"Well, you're part of the Inquisition Squad too, aren't you."

"Yes.. But barely."

"You still are."

"Sorry."

"Why are you part of it?"

"Mother and Father would want me to."

"I'm not in it."

"Pretty obviously, you're in the DA!"

"Was. It's not exactly continuing, is it?"

"No. Sorry..."

"Tell Draco that I'll try my best to forgive him."

"Okay, bye Addy. Hopefully your hand heals over soon."

In DDA, before their OWL exam, Draco crouched down next to Adeline's desk.

"Are we good now, Cubby? I'm sorry if I ever hurt you."

Adeline thought for a second and nodded. "Good luck in your OWLs."

"You too. I know you'll be great!"

Adeline smiled, and placed her quill in the stand.

"Have you studied for the exams at all?" Adeline asked.

"Kind of, I did two hours worth last night in the library."

Adeline nodded.

"Silence! Everyone in their seats!!" Umbridge shouted.

Draco sat on his desk.

"You may begin!"

Adeline dipped her quill in ink and scratched away at the paper.

'What is the incantation for a vanishing spell?'

Adeline thought for a second.. She wrote down 'Evanesco.'

'How many minutes does Gillyweed provide you with, to breathe underwater?'

Sixty minutes.

Half an hour later, there was an exploding noise. Everyone turned around. What was happening?

Adeline looked at Draco and frowned.

Umbridge made her way down the room, walking in the isle separated in the middle, she was going down to investigate.

Umbridge opened the door, nothing was there.

Another bang came.

Fred and George came flying in on broomsticks, lighting fireworks in the room.

Everyone cheered.

Draco didn't look to happy, nearly being hit by a firework.

There was a rush of people running to the courtyard, the fireworks were going out there.

Everyone was screaming happily. The bright colours of the fireworks were lighting up in the sky on the miserable day.

Harry fell to the ground.

"Harry? Harry!" Hermione called.

"What's wrong?" Adeline asked.

"We have to go, Hermione. Get Ron." Harry muttered.

Hermione was about to run off.

"Go where?" Adeline asked.

"Doesn't matter." Harry told her.

"We're going to the ministry" Ginny said.

"Yeah, Sirius is being held there." Hermione says.

"Sirius? As in Sirius Black? The mass murderer?" Adeline gasps.

"He's not. He really isn't." Harry said. "Come on, we're going now."

"Where's Neville?" Ron asked.

"Here!" Said Neville running up.

"Okay how are we getting there?" Adeline asked.

They all exchanged awkward glances.

"What?" Adeline asked.

"Well, we can't really have any more people come.. We've already got six." Harry told her.

"And you know, you're boyfriend is a Inquisitorial member. He's bound to find out you're gone and report it." Ron mentions.

"That's true, sorry Ad." Hermione bit her lip.

"What? No! Please let me go-" Adeline begs. "Ginny?"

"Sorry, Ad, we can't let you come."

"Luna? Neville?" Adeline looks over, teary eyed.

"Sorry, Addy, seven people is too many." Neville told her.

"Please!" Adeline begs. "It's just one more.."

"She can come, can't she?" Luna asks.

"No, Luna." Harry says. "Come on. Let's go."

Adeline stood frozen for a second. Weren't they supposed to be her friends?

She ran to the courtyard, as Pansy was usually there.

"Woah, what's wrong Addy?" She asks.

"Nothing. What are you up to?" Adeline tried to forget the ministry situation.

"Theo and I just broke up."

"What? Why?"

"Because I told him that I didn't love him."

Adeline rolled her eyes. "You're not gonna last another ten minutes in another relationship."

"Shush, he wasn't worth my time!"

"Pansy-"

"Ah, we've got potions now." Pansy scratched her arm. "Let's go."

Adeline and Pansy set off for potions.

"Where's Potter, Longbottom, Granger and Weasley..?" Snape asked the students.

Adeline bit her lip. "Um.. They told me that they were having detention.. With Hagrid."

Snape frowned. "Very well. Tell them they have to catch up and do extra work."

Snape placed some books on the desk in front of him. "Ten points from Gryffindor."

Adeline rolled her eyes.

"Now that everyone's completed all their OWLs, your results will be sent out to you in summer." Snape told them. "You all will probably have failed either way."

Everyone frowned.

"That's not true." Adeline muttered.

"Speak up, Parkinson." Snape spat.

Adeline's eyes widened.

Pansy kicked her from under the table and shot her a concerning look.

"I do not want any answering back in my class." Snape turned away. "Detention."

Adeline collapsed into her arms, rested on the table. Why was she so stupid?

"Adeline!" Pansy whispered. "You've never answered back to a teacher before.. What's up?"

"Just in a bad mood." Adeline turned away.
