Sakura's POV

Chaeyeon walks into the practice room with a heat pack and tumblers of water in hand while practically covered in several layers of clothing. It was agreed upon by the members to let her sit out for today's rehearsals since she has not been feeling well lately.

But then, here she comes.

"Unnie, we told you to stay at home and rest!" Wonyo scolds. I know she was trying to sound intimidating, but since she's the group's baby, it sounded like a cute nag instead. Chaeyeon simply chuckles at her.

"It's okay. I'm okay." She repeatedly assures, ignoring Eunbi unnie's stern glance towards her as she walks over to the table to set her belongings down. "I'm fine, I swear!"

Typical Chaeyeon. She never listens.

"This performance will still be in a week, Chae. You don't have to force yourself if you can't." Yena sweetly (and surprisingly) says.

"I'm--" Chaeyeon was then interrupted when she lets out a sneeze. "--fine."

Hitomi brings out a can of Glade air freshener and sprays it across the room, making the others snort in amusement.

"Ya, it's not CoVid, I promise." The sick member whines. "I tested negative."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"What???"

"I mean yes!! I'm positive I tested negative." Chaeyeon clarifies.

"You don't have to go all out, okay Chaeyeonie?" Unnie reminds her. "It's just rehearsals anyway."

"And let us know right away if you want to rest for a bit." Wonyoung protectively adds.

"In case you ever feel like fainting, Kkura unnie will just be right here to catch you." Chaewon teases as I feel my cheeks heat up.

Chaeyeon lets out a hearty laugh and continuously nod at the members' protective remarks. "Got it."

While the others start proceeding to their respective positions, I walk near her and give her hand a slight squeeze. "You'll be fine, right?"

"Yeah, don't worry 'bout me."

"We all did great today, girls! Good job!" Eunbi unnie chirps as we applaud and bow to the staff in gratitude.

We just finished practicing for our MAMA performance which will be next week. After that day will be the release of our comeback's music video called 'Panorama'. I'm feeling very excited about this month since other than our upcoming new song (which is very catchy by the way), we would get to attend several award shows as well, something that we were not able to do last year due to the hiatus.

"Okay, where do you guys want to eat tonight?" Nako questions everyone, getting a bunch of different answers from the whole group.

"Chaeyeon-ah, are you up for it? Or do you want to head home and rest?" Kwangbae asks her out of concern.

"I might go straight home now, I don't feel well. I don't mind if you guys eat out though."

"No, but you have to eat something." Yuri counters.

"Exactly."

"I can make some porridge at the dorm or something."

I speak up before any of the members can, "I'll go with Chaeyeon."

"No, it's okay. You can go with them---"

"No." I firmly say. "I don't mind."

"But--"
