Sakura's POV

"I don't know what I'll say to Chaeyeon when we get there." I rant out to Nako and Tomi, who were seated beside me at the boarding gate's waiting area.

Today is our flight back to Korea since we were told about this important meeting that we would be having with the other members at the dorm. I think Eunbi unnie mentioned something about having an important announcement.

I'm feeling extremely anxious about what that 'announcement' will be about, but mostly, I'm feeling nervous about seeing Chaeyeon when I get back there.

After that reckless 'I miss you' text that I sent her a few days back, I'm really scared of what she might think of me. I mean, I did miss her that time, even though it had only literally been a day of being away from her... and the girls, of course. And she did send a message saying that she missed me too, though I wasn't really able to reply to it.

I'm afraid she might notice how excited I get whenever we talk.

I hope I don't sound too clingy and needy towards her.

"Relax Saku-chan," Tomi says with a smile, patting my shoulder. "I'm sure she really misses you too."

"But don't forget what you also told me." Nako adds. "I thought you were moving on from her?"

"She said that to you?" Hiichan ridicules. "She told me she'd already moved on!"

I feel my cheeks heat up upon hearing their remarks. Okay so I may have opened up a bit about my hopeless crush on Chaeyeon to them the whole time we stayed in Japan. I just simply couldn't keep what I feel to myself and I needed someone who would understand. They were the best options I had.

"Ya." I scold them.

"Come on, you don't have to force yourself to move on if you still can't."

"But she did say she would never like me that way." I point out with a frown. "At least that's what I heard, so I don't want to keep convincing myself that she'd like me like how I like her."

"Feelings change, unnie." Nako counters. "And she said that about a year ago, who knows, right? Maybe her feelings changed now, we never know."

I heave a sigh. "Well yeah, you're right. But I don't want to make a fool out of myself. I mean, we don't know what's really going on inside that head of hers. I wonder if she's thinking about how we'll be going back to Korea today, or if she's excited to see me again."

Chaeyeon's POV

I wake up from my nap and immediately check my phone to see what time it was.

The J-line are probably boarding right now.

I go to my messages and click on a conversation, the one with Sakura in particular and for a few minutes, my thumbs dance across the keyboard as I figure out what to type.

To: Saku-chan ❤
'Take care, can't wait to see you~'

No, delete.

'Take care on your flight! Sorry I can't pick you guys up at the airport ): but I can't wait to see you, Nako and Tomi'

Then I click 'send'.

When I went out of our room, as usual, the dorm was empty. Wonyo and Yuri have probably gone to the other dorm so I decide to make my way there too.

The moment I step into the other girls' dorm, I make sure to be as quiet as possible.

"It makes me sad to see how much they've changed towards each other." It was Yena's loud voice that booms throughout the room.

"Yeah, I was really rooting for them." Chaewon.

"What exactly happened?" Eunbi unnie asks them in a motherly tone.

"Sakura unnie doesn't treat Chaeyeon unnie the way she used to, I don't know why." Yuri.

When I realize that we were the topic of their conversation, my eyebrows furrow as I feel myself tense up a bit.

So... they noticed it too?

"Yaaa, this is so upsetting," Yena whines. "Why must Saku-chan do that? Kkuchaen must not sink!!"

"Exactly!" Yujin agrees. "You know what? I'm starting to believe they actually like each other. Saku-chan is sooo soft for Chaeyeon unnie."

Aish, these silly girls.

I shake my head as I resist myself from smiling. Once again, I open the door and close it, intentionally making it loud enough for them to know that I was here so they shift their conversation to a different topic.

"Do you guys have some tampons?" Yena queries in an attempt to make it look like they were not talking about me just a few seconds ago. They even move to different places around the dorm.

Hyewon and Minju remain unbothered as their eyes are fixated on the TV screen while their hands fumble with PS4 controllers.

"Oh hi unnie." Yujin innocently greets.

"Hello." I groggily reply back. "Do any of you guys know what time will the three arrive?"

"Why? Are you excited to see someone?" The former answers and I glare at her.

"No clue but manager-oppa already drove to the airport." Thankfully, Eunbi unnie gives a sensible answer to my question.

"Oh."

"Are you sad you don't get to pick someone up at the airport?" Yena teases so I throw a pillow at her. "Ya!"

I rest my head back on their couch, snuggling closer to Wonyo. "Wake me up when they arrive."

I hear the younger one chuckle and she softly pats my head. "Okay, dream about Kkura unnie for now."

"Ya." I protest, making her laugh.

"IT'S HERE, WAKE UP, IT'S HERE!" Yena exclaims so loudly that I immediately jolt up from my comfortable sleeping position.

"They're here??"

"No, my chicken is here." She says with a cheeky grin. "Guys, I ordered some fried chicken, who wants some?!"

I blankly stare at her and at Wonyo simultaneously, my face holds an unamused expression.

"Stop keeping my hopes up."

They burst out in laughter while the rest only cared about the box of fried chicken on the table. "Chill out unnie, I'm sure Saku-chan can't wait to see you too." Minju jokes with a playful smile.

As if on cue, our short conversation was interrupted when the door opens and the sounds of familiar voices were heard.

"We're back!!" Nako cutely announces so we all get up from our seats to acknowledge their arrival.

After exchanging hugs with Nako and Tomi, I shyly approach Sakura, mumbling a soft 'welcome back' to her in which she only smiles to. The room becomes quiet and when I look around, I see the other members watching our awkward encounter, as if they were expecting more.

"What? No hug or anything?" Yena asks.

Sakura and I briefly look at each other and the moment our eyes meet, we immediately look away. Eunbi unnie clears her throat to freshen the mood up, then she tells us to gather up and to have a seat for the announcement she's been meaning to tell us. We all oblige, of course, and I settle myself beside Minju. Sakura sits with Yujin and Hyewon on the floor.

"Okay," unnie loudly breathes out and claps her hands to get our full attentions. "I was told to let you all know about this right before we have our meeting with the producers so you wouldn't be too surprised then..."

"Why? What's up?" Minju wonders beside me.

Our leader heaves a deep sigh with a very serious expression plastered upon her face. I was feeling nervous all of a sudden.

"But we have to pack our things up now..."
