"Okay, okay, I'll come to the compound Bucky. Now stop being so annoying."

Yes, at this point you were already talking to Bucky, the fourth person to speak to you. After Tony gave the earpiece to Steve who gave it to Nat who then gave it to Bucky after Thor denied speaking to you, you finally gave in and started to pack up all of the necessary things such as your suits, the earpiece, some S.H.I.E.L.D. supplies even though you weren't overly fond of using them and a couple of daggers that were always useful in any situation you're in.

You put everything in a bag and go to stand on your balcony to hopefully see the ocean one last time before returning to a chaotic and mostly unpleasant life.

Taking the first step onto your balcony you see nothing. Dark clouds crowded the sky and whenever the sun started to fade away due to the clouds, there's not even a trace of sunlight and warmth left. All you could see is a dark sky and fog all through the city.

The calm before the storm, huh?

As you close your eyes to concentrate on the location you want to teleport to, you hear one last wave crashing on the shore before,

WOOSH
------------------------------------------------------

You feel the wind around you slowly fade away as you open your eyes to be met with the big compound building in New York.

"Here we go," you mutter under your breath.

You walk into the large lobby with your head up high, indicating that you were here for a mission and that you indeed are welcomed.

Well, maybe not emotionally welcomed by everyone but you're required and that's just enough for you. Making your way to the lift to get to the right floor.

Stepping out of the elevator you let your bag drop to the floor gulping hard at the sight of the conference room, the kitchen, and the living room that had just brought flashbacks of fun gaming nights up to severe mental breakdowns to your mind.
Swallowing the tears that you felt rising to your eyes and shoving the memories back to wherever they came from, you bend down to pick up your bag and strut forward to the conference room where you see a part of the team sitting.

You carefully throw your bag onto the couch and open the glass door which was the only thing separating you from some of the people you hated oh, so much.

"Well hello there, did you miss me?"

"Is this a trick question?" Tony says while spinning around. You see his facial expression drop to the floor after hearing your voice but you choose to ignore it since you're just as pleased to see him as he is to see you.

"How nice of you, Stark. She still decided to help us after all so maybe try to at least be respectful to each other," you see Nat smirking while crooking up one eyebrow which you just return with the exact same smirk.

"Seriously Romanoff, you team up with her after all the ignorance she has put us through?" Steve scoffs at the redhead.

"I'm not teaming up with anyone Rogers, I just understand both sides and don't want the team to break apart even more, because even though you all don't want to admit it, you know yourself that we lost the strongest one out of us just because of these stupid conflicts."

You've never seen Natasha this upset. Even Steve was taken back by Natashas outburst and just kept quiet.
There must've been many more arguments about you leaving the team after you've already left.

Obviously, they couldn't move on from you, but who could?

"Now that this is settled, explain the situation to me again and maybe a bit more detailed so I can understand the problem a bit better," you say as you sit down on the same chair you've always sat on. No matter how confused you were by the fact that it was still empty and they left it pretty much untouched for three years, you tried your best to focus on the Trickster problem for now.

"Aw, did the Infinity Witch not quite get the situation the first time I explained it to her, should I draw it for you? Does anyone have some crayons?" Tony says with a fake pout which you immediately wanted to punch out of his face.

"You know what, you arrogant piece of shit! I could be sitting on my balcony, listening to the ocean while drinking a coffee right now which gotten to a part of my daily routine after you kicked me out of this building but instead, I'm sitting here trying my best to keep cool and listen to an explanation you're not willing to give me without being an ass for once! And the best of it all is that you want me here because you need my help and not the other way around, so either you keep your shit together now or I'll just leave this place as fast as I came."

"Agreed," Bucky chimes in.

After all of them needed a second to process what just came out of your mouth, several expectant looks make their way to Tony who just clears his throat and starts to explain.

"Well, Loki, God of Mischief, adopted brother of Thor, Trickster however you want to call him just declared that he's in fact not dead but was just teleporting from realm to realm since we messed up the timeline when we traveled into the past to get the Infinity Stones and somehow he was able to escape with the Tesseract so his death never actually happened," Tony explains surprisingly chill and informative.

"Okay, and where exactly is the problem in this now? I thought Thor and him were on good terms after Ragnarok happened," you ask turning your head to look at Thor.

"Well yes, we indeed were on good terms before he 'died' but now I don't know what's on his mind and I would just like to bring back to your mind, that I thought we were on good terms about a thousand times already and then he decided to stab me, so him being nice doesn't necessarily mean it's genuine. Actually, it never meant it's genuine," Thor says with visible pain written all over his face and audible in his voice, which you suppose comes from the memories he just got.

"So inviting me here was just prevention even though you guys have not a single clue if he's even planning on doing anything?" you ask raising an eyebrow, slightly annoyed by the fact that they interrupted your peace just because of them being afraid that something might happen.

"Yeah, I guess that's what you can call it," Steve says, just making you more upset by him agreeing to what you just said and thought.

"Oh no, I know that face. Guys, abord mission, the arrogance will strike us again!" Tony yells sarcastically but somewhat serious, which made you furious, and everyone around you back off after they see your eyes change color.
