Back inside of the building you and Loki are standing next to a column he just casually leans on."How long do we have to pretend to like each other until we can get the keys?" you ask, internally already annoyed of talking to him and looking at his constantly smug facial expression.
"Maybe three more minutes. What's the problem, dear. I thought we were having a great time," he smirks at your fake smile.
"I don't want any more good experiences with you since I know that we'll try to kill each other for it right after," you curl your hair with your finger.
"Maybe we could stop trying to kill each other."
There's complete silence between you two before both of you start laughing hysterically at what the god just said.
"You're funny," you say still giggling a bit.
"I know right," he agrees with a small chuckle.
A more classic song starts to play as you and Loki look at each other,
"Will you do me the honor, madame?" he says bending down a tiny bit, holding his hand out for you to take.
"Gladly," you reply placing your hand in his.
He leads you onto the dancefloor which is now more similar to a ballroom than a club while everyone is gracefully dancing the waltzer.
Loki places his other hand on your hip, inching you closer to his body as you put your hand onto his shoulder. You start to dance to the music, faces inches apart, and breathes combined, again. You find your faces this close way too often, but this time you didn't mind.
There was hate, sweet Jesus, there was a lot of it.
The tension is building up every inch you come closer to each other but it's exciting. Something that you've never felt before and you know he thinks the same since his thoughts are fairly loud when he doesn't pay attention to it.
You look deep into each other's eyes as you see yourself in the green orbs that sometimes change color to blue. You scan his facial features now that you're more close and even though you hate to admit it, he had a great face. Like gorgeous.
His face shape is sharp but still soft, his pale skin has a hint of pink on the cheeks, his lips are thin but perfectly and annoyingly curled into that smug smirk you hated, oh so much and then there are these green orbs that are currently doing the same as your Y/E/C ones just did.
Realizing that he wasn't paying attention to his thoughts earlier, he now blocks you from hearing what he is thinking even though you'd love to know what he has to say about your face.
As the song ends he dips you, bending down to be inches away from your face again,
"I didn't know you could dance the waltzer," he states.
"There's a lot you don't know about me," you smirk at him as your eyes see the completely awake and sober Sergio walking on some kind of balcony on the upper floor that stretches through the entire room and leads to the bedrooms you were originally meant to find the Tesseract in.
"What are you staring at, dear?" Loki asks curiously as he starts to pull you to stand properly on your feet again but you stop him,
"No, stay like that and don't move. That bitch Sergio didn't drink his pill. He knows," you explain quickly as you pull a gun out of your garter and hold it right next to Lokis head while clinging onto his shoulder with the other one.
"Why not use your magic?" he questions the gun while still holding your hips tightly.
"They don't care about the guns, especially our guns since we collect them. Look around, everyone has one," you say while aiming at the Mafioso and pulling the trigger.
