It's been two days.

Two days since Loki died, sacrificing himself for you.

Sacrificing himself even though it should've been you.

Why didn't you pay attention to what Sephtir was doing? Why did you have to look down to watch the others fight?

You hate it.

You hate yourself.

You're mad at Loki for wanting to die as a hero.

Fuck being a hero, you want him back.

The good part had just started but as usual, everything that starts to make you feel happy again gets taken from you in an instant.

You have only left your room for his funeral which was basically Tony putting him in some sort of see-through casket.

Why?

Not a clue why he'd make it see-through.

Completely in your thoughts, you hear a knock on your door,

"Who is it?" you snarl.

"Thor," the voice answers.

"Come in."

The blonde steps inside your room, closing the door behind him.

He hasn't been doing so well either so he was the only person you allowed in your room. You two have daily crying sessions together where he just rants about his and Lokis' childhood as you cry-laugh with him.

He simply lays on your bed without a word and throws the covers over his giant body.

"Nightmares?" you question while he just nods.

"It's fine, I had one too tonight. Just wanted to take a nap anyways," you sniffle a bit as Thor opens the blanket for you to jump underneath.

With him by your side you feel a lot safer than alone. He makes you as comfortable as you could possibly be.

You close your eyes thinking about the conversation the team and you had the morning after Lokis' death.

They asked you why you didn't do anything such as heal him or turn back time. But you couldn't.

Your powers were too drained to turn back time and due to the fact that the sword was on fire and burned his insides you couldn't heal him either especially since fire was quite the opposite of Loki.

As much as you wanted to, some things were just impossible, even for you.

You slowly drift off to sleep,

"Y/N, honey open your eyes."

You hear a voice say.

"Sweetheart, come on, open them."

You slowly open your eyes just to be blinded by some strong light.

"Look at me."

"Mom?" you say, finally recognizing the voice, "Am I dead?" you say with a trace of hope in your voice.

"No, I'm in your dreams. Honey, you have to listen to me closely," your mom takes both of your hands into hers as you just nod, indicating that you're listening.

"I saw everything that happened two days ago. I made sure Sephtir won't bother you anymore," she smiles reassuringly.

"Did you kill him?" you ask her as she gives you the most angelic evil smile there is.
