You and the team arrive a few blocks away from the party location and go through the plan one last time to make sure everything will go as it should.

"Stark, we're not stupid, or at least I am not so if you'd just trust us for once?" Loki rolls his eyes.

"I'd love to but you haven't really shown me that I can, neither of you has," Tony points in between you and the god.

"Basically, we do our job in there and as soon as we got the Tesseract we give you as sign and you guys come in, arresting the people. It's really not that hard," you repeat the plan to signal that you understood.

"Wait, we're here for the Tesseract?" Loki raises his eyebrows.

"Oh yeah, we're getting your long-lost love back," you smirk at the now frowning Trickster.

"No time for messing with each other now, we got to move fast," Steve yells out of the Quinjet.

"I want to see the Italians now," Tony says impatiently.

You and Loki glance at each other for a second and then turn into Aurora and Elio as Tony looks impressed by how fast your forms actually changes into two very different people than yourselves.

As you and Loki look at each other again after transforming he says,

"I like the normal one better."

Did he just-?

"Agreed," you just say as you look away from him.

"Now go and I swear to you if you do anything other than the plan," Tony holds up a warning finger as you and the god just turn around, ignoring the overreacting man.

As you two were out of reach for them to hear your conversation, the Trickster starts talking,

"He can be wildly annoying for someone who only has powers because of some metal and screws."

"He just takes his job a bit too seriously sometimes but he's actually a really nice guy if you know him outside of work," you explain even though you had no idea why you were defending the person who sends you on missions with the man next to you.

"I genuinely wonder how you can't hate him," the Trickster questions.

"I consider it a talent to not hate him," you answer to which he chuckles deeply.

"We're here," you say, looking at the Italian man next to you.

"M'lady," he says, gesturing for you to step through the door which he follows right after.

You look around the place, realizing that it's actually surprisingly pretty. There's an entirely white Lobby with red and golden decorations, a giant chandelier, and a red carpet leading you into the main room.

Loki or 'Elio' looks rather fascinated himself even though you are sure he's just pretending since Asgard was much more beautiful and bigger than this.

You two follow the red carpet until you are met with two already upset looking security guards,

"Your names?" one of them says drily.

"Elio and Aurora Fiore," Loki replies.

"Adriano mio adorabile amico, come stai?" you say smiling at the security man.

"Aurora, così bello rivederti!" the man hugs you, tight. Maybe a bit too tight since you couldn't breathe for solid ten seconds.

"Entrare, come in and have fun," the guards gesture for us to step into the main room.

"Grazie," you give them one last smile before the doors close behind you and you stand in front of a big staircase which is in the very middle of the room.

"You forgot to tell me that you could speak Italian," Loki says while looking straight ahead into the dancing crowd.

"I just saved our asses from having to stand there suspiciously long while trying to prove that it's really Elio and Aurora, maybe just thank me," you roll your eyes.

"Seems like we both have a problem with being grateful," he scoffs.

You just scowl at him as you see his arm signaling you to link yours with his which you do, maybe a bit too aggressively,

"Not so harsh," he looks at you.

As you two start to walk down the stairs, arms linked and outfits matching you hear Natashas voice through your earpiece,

"Y/N, I know you hate him but you have to look a bit happier because you guys are actually married."

"What the-" you look around to find the assassin that just told you to smile and see the redhead through one of the windows casually dangling on one of Peter's spider webs.

"Hold on, when did the spiderling get here?" you mutter quietly but loud enough for Loki to hear.

"A spider? Where?" he lowkey panics.

"I mean Spiderman, Peter Parker, not ringing any bells?"

"Why is there some sort of spider hero?"

"Is the god afraid of spiders?" you fake pout your lips while holding yourself back from bursting out laughing.

"No I'm not, I just find them unpleasantly looking," he defends himself.

"That's just a nice way of putting it, Elio," you smirk at him.

You reach the end of the staircase and find yourself in the middle of the dancing crowd, sweaty bodies pressing against each other, heavy breathing, and the really intense smell of alcohol.

"Dude, this party started 25 minutes ago, how is everyone already black-out drunk?" you ask unbelieving to which Loki just shrugs while looking rather disgusted by being surrounded by drunk people or living beings in general.

Loki leads you onto the dancefloor as someone grabs your arm rather harshly and turns you around to face them.

"Aurora! Elio! I miei amici, mi siete mancati due," the man yells as you see him spitting all over the drink he just gave you. While just smiling at him you see Loki wiping some spit that landed on his face off with his sleeve, looking utterly disgusted.

As you try to contain your laughter you quickly realize that this is exactly the man you've been looking for. The Mafioso you were actually supposed to search for just came running right into your arms which made all of this a lot easier.

"We missed you too, Sergio," you answer while slowly throwing a pill into his drink which is just supposed to make him a little dozy so you can easily grab the bunch of keys that is dangling on his pants and make your way upstairs to find the Tesseract.

"Have fun at my party, my little lovebirds," Sergio smiles while stumbling to take a seat on one of the couches in the corner of the room.

"His little-" Loki starts.

"Lovebirds," you finish while you and the god exchange disgusted looks.

Outside of the building Natasha just changes positions to look at the team while still dangling on one of the spider webs.

"Y/N just threw the pill into Sergio's drink so it will probably take up to five minutes until they can take the keys," she informs.

"And how are the two rivals doing?" Tony asks curiously.

"Seems like they're having quite a good time," she smiles looking back through the window to see you and Loki talking and smiling.

Even though she knows this was just acting, there is something that wasn't acting but genuine.
