After Valkyrie picked out a new gatekeeper for the Bifröst since you couldn't bring back Heimdall with Asgard, you and Loki are on your way to go back to earth, riding on horses to cross the rainbow bridge.

Jumping off of his horse Loki says,

"I didn't know you could ride a horse too."

"That's because we were busy with trying to kill each other so I haven't quite had the time to tell you," you smile back while jumping off of your own horse.

Sending the horses back to the palace you walk into the Bifröst.

"I'm fascinated by this every single time," you state, looking around inside the golden globe.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Loki says, smiling at your facial expression.

"More than beautiful," you state.

The gatekeeper looks at you smiling. He has a similar golden armor to Heimdall's and honey blonde hair with piercing blue eyes.

"Seems like you guys like people with stunning eyes, huh?" you giggle.

"Asgardians have pretty eyes but the people from Jotunheim have much prettier ones," he corrects you.

"True, I like red," you answer, watching his expression change since he meant his normal eyes.

"No, no I meant my eyes-"

"I know, Loki," you lightly pat his chest.

"To Midgard I suppose?" the gatekeeper questions as you two just nod, waving him goodbye.

"You have done this before right?" the god asks you, slight concern written on his face.

"I did but I kind of almost threw up every time," you explain.

He swings his arm around your waist and pulls you close to him,

"I hope you feel safer now... but if you have to puke then please let go of me," he tries to say as nice and caring as possible.

"How nice," you say playfully rolling your eyes.

You two get sucked in by the rainbow-colored pipe like portal that'll bring you back to your realm, Midgard. Or how normal people say, Earth.

Looking up to Loki you see his joy-filled eyes which you'd like to look into forever. Seeing him this happy and relaxed makes you feel extremely pleased, knowing that his life is now going a lot better than a couple of years ago. He deserves to be happy, in every way possible.

Arriving on the roof of the compound Loki loosens his grip on you a bit, but still holds you tight to his body. Looking into your eyes he says,

"Thank you."

"Huh?" you ask confused.

"Your thoughts were really loud on our way here," he smirks.

"Oh, well, your welcome," you say a bit embarrassed since you normally had your thoughts and mind under control.

"No need to be ashamed, love. I really appreciate it," he says, stroking your cheeks with his thumb before pulling you closer, giving you a rather long kiss which you gladly returned.

After pulling away, you two teleport into the compound's living room in which the entire team was already waiting for you two to come back.

"Sweet Jesus, I thought he kidnapped you," Tony yells, jumping up from the sofa to come and hug you.

"If anyone was kidnapped then it was me and not her," Loki states, frowning a bit.
