After you wiped your tears and calmed down a bit you teleport yourself back into your room, leaving the sandwich almost untouched on the roof for the birds to eat since you were too busy with crying to eat it.

You stand in front of your bed just wanting to hop in and forget about this awful conversation you just had, but you couldn't. Something pulls you in the room on your opposite.

After about two minutes of just debating on going to bed or his room, you finally give in your inner urge and make your way to his door.

You take a deep breath even though you weren't quite sure why you did so and knocked three times.

There was no going back now.

The door opens and you see Loki just the way he looked when he left you on the roof and even though he expected you to be the one standing in front of his door, his facial expression still fell when he saw that it indeed was you.

"Hey, I just wanted to talk, I guess."

"I have nothing to say to you," he mutters and starts to close the door again.

"No," you put your hand on the door to push it back open, "I don't care if you don't want to talk to me, I want to talk to you."

"Who of us is the selfish one now, huh?" he says while slamming the door right into your face.

Well, that went glorious. You go back into your room and shut the door loud enough for him to hear that you are upset too. You hop into bed and say,

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. turn the lights off"

"Have a good night sleep Miss Y/L/N," the AI answers.

"Doubt that I'll sleep," you whisper.

Why would he be like that? You obviously felt bad for what happened and literally just wanted to apologize to him and maybe, if he was lucky, even say the two words he was so desperate to hear. But instead, his overly stubborn and unforgiving ass wouldn't even listen to you. If he wants to see selfish, you'll give him selfish.

~the next day~

You wake up after sleeping for about 30 minutes since your mind's been circling around that dumb Trickster god. Not in a positive way though.

You get up and hop into the shower. After you just threw on some casual clothes and light makeup you walk out of your room and into the living space.

"Good morning losers," you greet the ones who are already up which are Steve, Clint, Nat, and Tony, but when does he ever sleep?

"What a nice greeting," Tony smiles at you.

"Good morning losers," Bucky says while walking into the room, still having his pajama pants on, just with a shirt on top.

"You guys are seriously the same person," Natasha rolls her eyes playfully as Steve gives her an angry look.

"Still my best friend, don't you dare to steal him," Steve looks at you.

"Wasn't planning on doing so but now that you say it..." you smirk at the super-soldier who never looked more upset.

"C'mon Capsicle, I'm just playing," you say as you sit down with an apple that Clint just threw to you.

"Hey, don't steal my nicknames for them," Tony calls from the window that he just looks out of for no specific reason.

You just roll your eyes at them and start to eat your apple as you see the Trickster walking into the room, looking kind of grumpy.

"Hey Reindeer games, didn't sleep well?" you say as he turns his head to give you a stare, indicating for you to stop whatever you're trying to do here. But you wouldn't be you if you'd actually stop now.

"Still using my nicknames, kid," Tony says while pointing at you.

"No more apples in the bowl," the god states drily.

"Aw did you want one? I took the last one, my apologies," you say sarcastically.

"Stop it Y/N," he warns.

"Here mine's still halfway there," you say while throwing the apple directly into his face.

"I said stop!" the god screams.

"Hold on," you smirk as you turn back time to right before the apple hits his face and watch as it hits him again, and again, and again.

While you replay this scene about 35 times, you walk out of the room and go into the gym to work out and train a bit.

After circa three minutes you hear someone call out your name, well, more scream it on top of his lungs. Preparing for the fight you're about to start as soon as he walks into the gym you walk to the door and press your body on the wall next to it so he wouldn't see you when he walks in.

The door bursts open and a very angry Loki comes running in. While trying to find you in the room you come up behind him and send a kick flying to the middle of his legs to make him kneel in front of you.

"Who kneels now, huh?" you smirk at the god as you walk in front of him.

"Is letting an apple fly into my face for three minutes really the best you can do?" he questions.

"Oh no, far from what I'm actually capable of but I wanted an easy start for you, simply because I'm nice," you hook your finger under his chin to make him look into your eyes.

"Far from it," he says while grabbing your legs to make you fall onto your back but instead you grab onto his neck to hold yourself up.

Your legs fling over his shoulders while he gets up from his previous kneeling position.

Looking up to where your face is, he sees your elbow flying up just to come down right into his face as he holds your hips, trying to get you off his shoulders.

He realizes that it wouldn't work that way as he walks to the big boxing ring and bends down a bit to let your upper body crash onto the rather hard surface. As he's now standing in front of you with your legs still clinging over his shoulders to keep him exactly where he was Loki brings one of his hands up to your neck and starts to choke you giving your airways no more space to transfer oxygen.

He really means it now, doesn't he?

His face scrunches up in pure hatred as yours changes color to red, dark red, and eventually a purple-ish tint.

"G-go ahead," you try to say as clearly as possible.

"Oh, I will," the god smirks while watching your eyes roll back into your head.

Just when he lets loose of your neck a bit you lift your arm and send him flying back into the wall with a ball of power.

"You really thought I'd just let you choke me to death?" you say while you get down from the boxing ring, rubbing your now bruised throat.

"It was worth a try, wasn't it?" the Trickster looks up at you as you see pure anger practically flaming in his eyes.

"I hate you too, Loki," you reassure him.

"But why did you want to apologize to me then? If you hate me so much you wouldn't even dare to care about me being mad at you, but you did and I know that you still do," he chuckles.

"Whoever made you think that I do not hate you is straight up a liar," you say crossing your arms in front of your chest.

"Oh dear, the only liar I see here is you."
