Chapter 59

I opened with my keys. It's still weird that I have these keys. We entered the house and not only did it look haunted, it looked abandoned and dusty. We started searching.

Ar: Luna, look!

She said while picking something off the floor.

Ar: This is...

Me: A bracelet.

Ar: Not just any bracelet. We make these for our partners. My dad gave one to mom, Brett to Jenna.

Me: So, I suppose this isn't theirs. You want to tell me this is...

Ar: Mine. I made one a long time ago. I gave it to my better half. Now it makes sense why I've been feeling so lonely all of a sudden.

Me: Come on; let's search the rest of the house.

We went upstairs and I opened a door, the room was empty. There was only a picture in there. I looked closer. My siblings and I were in the photo. I was sitting on the left, there was an empty spot and Derek was sitting on the right. Olivia, Scott and Stiles were standing behind us. I told Argy to come and take a look.

Ar: Why is there an empty spot?

Me: I think I have a twin brother.

Ar: How do you know that it's a twin?

Me: I meant to say brother, but it rolled off my tongue.

Ar: Do you think they're the same person? Your twin brother and my better half?

Me: Maybe. I think he is my anchor.

Ar: And when he disappeared, you lost control.

Me: We were together when the wild hunt took him.

Ar: But we don't remember.

Me: That's exactly why I'm saying it.

Ar: How will we bring him back, if it's the wild hunt?

Me: I don't have the slightest idea. Don't you know anything? You usually do.

Ar: Unfortunately, not this time.

Me: What are we going to do? Are we going to wait until they take all of us?

Ar: Definitely not. We didn't back down before and we're going to now?

Aiden and Brett came in.

A: What is taking you so long?

B: We got worried.

Ar: Why? Did you think the ghosts hurt us?

A: We were just making a joke.

Me: A bad one.

B: We just wanted to lift Argy's spirits up.

Ar: With stupidities? Nice ideas.

Me: Let's not be mean to them, because if they didn't do that, then we wouldn't find them. At least not so soon.

A: What did you find?

Me: None of your business.

I said and fell to the ground grabbing my stomach.

B: Are you okay?

Me: I am, but my brother isn't.

A: Derek? How do you know that?

Me: Not him.

Ar: Her twin brother. With whom I've imprinted by the way.

B: But you haven't...

Me: The wild hunt took him. That's what we discovered here.

B: And how do you plan to bring him back?

Ar: We don't know, but we'll find a way.

A: How did you figure it out?

We explained what happened. Everyone returned home.

Me: I think my brother has the keys to my bike.

A: How do you know that?

Me: You know I've been looking for them. It came to me that I gave them to him; he was the only person I would lend it to.

A: And now that he's gone, they're gone too.

Me: Yes. The worst part is that I know I have a brother, but I can't remember his name or what he looks like.

We went to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking of him.

The next day, we met with the others and Deaton and told them what happened. We were all trying to find a way to save him.

Ar: I know a way to remember him. Someone will access both my memories and Luna's at the same time. It would be better if Brett, Ethan or Aiden do it, since they know what I'm talking about.

B & A: No.

Et: It's dangerous.

Me: I'm doing it, whether you help or not.

Ar: Me too.

A: Fine, we'll do it, but on the night of the full moon. We'll be stronger them.

Me &Ar: The full moon is in a month.

De: It's for the best; we'll have time to prepare. And search for more information.

A week passed and everyone was looking for information. My siblings and I were looking in books about mythology. Argy and her cousins asked her parents and their pack. Deaton came in contact with other druids. We gathered at the vet's to share what we knew.

O: We didn't find anything in the library.

De: I didn't learn anything useful either.

B: Well, we only learned that they exist in stories. They're a myth. They always appear when there are storms and thunders; with electricity.

A: But no one believes that it's them. There are no records.

Ar: So, we conclude that no one has ever managed to escape from the wild hunt?

Me: Yes.

Then Mason and Corey came in and they were out of breath.

Me: What happened? Why were you running?

Ma: Yesterday we were in the library and we saw someone running. And suddenly he was levitating in the air on the top floor. And then Corey grabbed me and we became invisible. Then I could see what he saw. There were two riders who were keeping him afloat with their whips.

Co (Corey): Then one of them who was on the ground floor shot him and he disappeared. Today we couldn't remember anything, we just had a strange feeling that something had happened, so I grabbed Mason, we became invisible and looked for anything out of place. Mason saw something white on therailing. I left him and went upstairs to check it out. I saw a card that was blank, but when I turned visible again I brought it with me and the information on it appeared.

Ma: With that information appeared the name that I was looking for and it turned out that it was a student who was taken by the wild hunt.

St: The wild hunt may take people, but it can't erase everything about them. There's always something that will stay back.

Then Mason and Corey's phones rang.

Ma: Who's in the mood for a party?

D: Are you serious?

Co: It will take place at the haunted house, meaning your brother's.
