Chapter 4

Jimmy came out of nowhere. Why is this happening to me?

Ji: Luna, come on. We’re leaving.
Me: What? I am not going anywhere with you. First of all my brother warned you.
Ji: Yeah, and now I’m scared.
Me: You should be.

He tried to pull me, but Aiden stepped in. Their eyes ch-changed. I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, their eyes were normal. I can’t believe it! I am going crazy with all this!

A: MY girlfriend isn’t going anywhere with you.
Ji: You got a new boyfriend so quickly?
Me: Are you kidding me? You had one before we even broke up, so don’t talk about me.
A: Well, now you know. Get lost.
Ji: Yes, I know. But I will be back.

Jimmy left. We stayed there for a little longer and then left, because Derek called me and told me to go to the auto shop. Aiden took me there and my brother was outside and waiting for me.

D: What are you doing with him?
Me: Do you know each other?
D: Yes. But you didn’t answer.
Me: Derek, let me introduce you to my boyfriend.
D: Your WHAT? Break up. Right now.
Me: Derek, what are you talking about? Are you crazy?
D: Me, no. You, yes.
A: Derek, let me…
D: You don’t get to speak. Stay away from her, or we are going to have trouble.
Me: How do you know each other?
D: He was here, a few days ago, to fix his bike.
Me: That doesn’t mean anything.
D: I spoke. Leave now!
Me: I’ll text you.
D: You’ll do nothing.
Me: I’ll do whatever I want – Aiden left- What the hell is going on?
D: I told you. Break up with him.
Me: No. I have parents to tell me what to do. You are my big brother.

He didn’t say anything. Not even what he called me here for. He did something to a car and then we left. When we got home, I went straight to Isaac’s room and he was talking to her.

Isaac’s POV

While I was talking on the phone with my girlfriend, Allison, Luna came in.

Me: Allison I have to hang up. I will call you later.
Al (Allison): Okay baby.

We hung up. I saw my sister grimacing. A little laugh slipped out.

Me: Why are you making this face sweetie?
L: 2 things. First, your girlfriend.
Me: I don’t get why you’re like this.

She came and sat next to me. All this time she was leaning on the wall.

L: Because you deserve someone better. I’ll admit, she’s a good girl, but still…
Me: Fine. And the second thing?
L: Your brother.
Me: What did Derek do to you again? Come, sit.

She sat on my lap and we hugged.

L: I am in a relationship with someone and Derek doesn’t like him and told me to break up.

That moment Derek walked in.

D: Did she tell you about her accomplishments?
Me: Derek, why…
D: Stop, because you know him and anything you say will be used against you.
Me: What do you mean I know him?
L: How does he know him? Was Isaac in the auto shop when he came?
D: Yes. –Before I could say anything, he continued- It’s Aiden.
Me: Aiden who?
D: Are you kidding me? The Aiden.
Me: Oh, I see, Aiden. Luna, baby, I won’t tell you to break up, but be careful.

She nodded and then left, because they were calling for her. When I turned to see Derek, he was giving me the death stare.

D: Are you serious? What did you just tell her? What if he tells her everything?
Me: If he tells her everything, she will be mad at me. I hid this from her because of all of you. Why did I even listen you? Oh, one more thing, related to her boyfriend, just leave her be. It will pass. Don’t oppose her on this.
D: Yes, but…
Me: No buts. She wants him. I know it. I feel what she feels, remember?
D: Yes.
Me: Then, stop.

End of Isaac’s POV

The next day, Aiden called and told me that he has something very important to tell me. We met and went to his house. He told that nobody should find about any of this. When we got to his house.

Me: So, I’m listening. What is this thing you want to tell me?
A: First, I trust you with everything, that’s why I am telling you about this.
Me: Yes. Are you going to tell me now? I am really curious.
A: I am a werewolf.

What did he just say? I wanted to say so many things at that moment, but what won was…

Me: Turn me!
A: What? I mean, I was expecting a different reaction.
Me: Yeah, I had so many things to say, but this won over every other thought.
A: Do you know why you feel what you feel for me?
Me: I guess because I like you.
A: No, it’s because I imprinted on you. Every werewolf and basically every supernatural creature, either born or bitten, find their other half and imprints on them.
Me: That’s why when I first saw you your eyes were red. And the other day with Jimmy, your eyes were red and his were blue.
A: That day with Jimmy, it shouldn’t have happened because someone could see, but when we imprinted nobody else saw my true color.
Me: Your eyes are red because you are the leader of the pack, right? Why was Jimmy’s blue? I mean they should be yellow...
A: Yes, I am the leader of the pack. The Alpha. Jimmy had blue eyes because he has killed. And yes, the Betas regularly have yellow eyes. How do you know all these?
Me: I have done research. Even though my brothers tell me that these don’t exist. What I don’t get is how you transform. Some articles say that you become wolves completely and other say that it’s like we see in the movies.
A: During the full moon we become huge wolves, but only then. When it’s not a full moon, our eyes change, our teeth, ears and nails grow. Of course you have to control it.
Me: Good. Will you turn me into a werewolf?
A: You caught me off guard. Give me some time to think about it.

I nodded. I thought telling him about Jackson and Lydia, but I had to ask Jenna first.

Me: Um, I’ll be back in a little while.
A: Did anything happen?
Me: No.
I went quickly to Jenna and told her what Aiden had told me.
J: Are you joking?
Me: Not at all. I didn’t tell you all this for nothing. I came here to ask you if I can tell Aiden about Jackson and Lydia, to see if he can understand anything.
J: Yes, of course.

I left again and got back to Aiden’s house. This come and go is so annoying, but these things couldn’t be told on the phone.

A: Oh, you’re back already?
Me: During the last full moon, somebody bit Jenna’s, brother and cousin.
A: Why didn’t you tell this earlier?
Me: Because I had to ask my best friend first.
A: So, you told her about me too.
Me: Yes, I am sorry. I should have asked you first.
A: It’s okay. Don’t do it again though.
Me: I won’t let it happen again. Is your brother one too?
A: A werewolf? Yes.

I talked with Jenna on the phone to ask her about Jackson and she told me that he was at the hospital with Lydia. We went there.
