Chapter 13

It was Peter. We were all stunned.

Me: How?

That was the only thing I managed to say. My brother became an Alpha and my uncle was a werewolf. I need to find answers, without thinking I became a wolf and left for my destination. When I arrived at the veterinary, I knocked on the door with my paws and Deaton opened. He gave me clothes; I changed into my human form, went inside and started talking.

Me: My uncle, Peter, was the Alpha. We just found out, because Derek killed him and he became an Alpha. Tell me what you know. You said that you knew my mother, who is my uncle's sister, who was a werewolf I repeat. So...
De: Yes, your mother was a werewolf too. Weren't you surprised that you can control it so well? Because none of the three of you were werewolves and your father wasn't either, they decided to not tell you anything.
Me: No, you're lying.
De: I'm not done. The accident, well... it wasn't an accident. Hunters caused it. Kate in particular. Your uncle survived. Then they burned his house. And that's why they made it their safe house.
Me: That's why my uncle killed Kate.
De: Yes.
Me: Why didn't you say anything earlier?
De: Because you weren't ready.
Me: I need to go home and talk to my brothers about all these.

I left and went home, but before I could tell them, they told me about a different problem.

I: Where were you?
D: Do you know that a problem occurred?
Sc: You just vanished!
St: The rest of us came and we had to turn on their auto healing by breaking their bones, to stand up or it was going to take a lot of time.
Me: Wait! One by one... what happened?
I: When Gerard saw Kate dead, he got furious and took Jackson under his control, and paralyzed all of us with his venom.
Me: As if I was there I could have done something different. I learned about more important things!
D: Like?
Me: I'll tell you now! – I told them what Deaton and I talked about- What do you have to say now?
I: Why did they hide this from us? They should have told us!
D: This concerned all of us! We were a family.

His eyes turned red and he left the house. We followed him.

I: Where are you going?
D: Away. And don't you dare follow me!
Me: Derek. DEREK!
I: Let him calm down and we will come back.
Me: But...
I: No buts. Let's go!

We went inside and just waited for him to come back. Two days went by and nothing happened. I am worried. We haven't heard about Jackson either. Maybe because that old guy isn't leaving him alone. There was a knock on the door that took me out of my thoughts. I opened the door and I saw Derek.

Me: Derek are you okay?
D: Yes, but I turned two people. They wanted it and it happened yesterday.
Me: It's okay, come here. I was worried.
D: You're right. Jackson?
Me: Still nothing. We have a plan. I am going to tell the others that you're back.
D: Okay.

I told the others what happened. He found out that in a week the hunters will hit the police station. Maybe some supernaturals were there. We decided to break the bond between Gerard and Jackson. We found a way. Olivia was the key. She would pretend to join the hunters and when she got the chance, she would change Gerard's pills with some of ours that contain mountain ash.

The day that they're going to raid the precinct is here and we split. Derek was with his Betas for training. Lydia was at her home, because we still don't know what she is and we don't want to put her in danger. The rest of us are going. Actually I was going to stay with Derek and help him, but he didn't want me to, so I left.

When we arrived, everything was chaotic. There were bodies everywhere. Luckily, Noah wasn't one of them, but he was nowhere to be found. We searched the entire precinct and in the end we went to the cells and in there was Noah tied up and behind the bars was Melissa and in front of them the kanima.

Isaac, Scott, Stiles and I turned, because the others went to search for the hunters. We attacked the kanima. We tried not to hurt him, but it wanted to kill us. As we were fighting, our parents were looking at us in shock. Suddenly, it left.

Sc: You two leave. Stiles and I will take care of our parents.

We nodded and left. We followed his scent and we were under a bridge. Everyone was there. We charged.
