Chapter 20

It's been a week and the New Year has come. Basically, we had an informal truce with the Alphas. In a few days it's my birthday and Isaac's. Today we are going to attack; when the night came, we went to an old mall and all the Alphas came. They were too many, how are we going to deal with all of them? The minute we arrived, they started attacking us. We split and I was fighting with multiple people at different times, but at some point I was fighting only with the twins.

At some point, they scraped me a little under my chest and then Isaac came. We attacked them together; we run towards them and at the last minute we jumped down and caught their legs and they fell. I jumped on their back and I put them in a headlock.

Me: Go. I got them.

He left. Then they got up and hit with force on a wall in order to make me lose my grip, but they didn't succeed. I put my legs around them and held them tight. They hit me in the wall behind again, harder this time and because I was in pain, I dropped my legs; then they dug their nails on my back and threw me down with force. They were coming at me again, but then Aiden and Ethan (who were one) came to stand in front of me.

I was still on the ground. I managed to get up. I could feel I was bleeding. I wasn't healing. That's logical since an Alpha caused it. As I was getting better, one of the twins came. They had separated. How come? He grabbed me from the throat, lifted me high and told me

??: You are going to regret what you did the other night. I am Trevor, remember this.

A: Put her down.

Trevor: Oh, how sweet; her boyfriend came to the rescue. Such a shame you don't have enough time.

He took a step closer to the empty shaft that led to the floor below. Aiden started running and Trevor was laughing. He threw me back with force and Aiden caught him by the waist and with the force he had, they both fell down.

Me: NO!!!

Derek's POV

I was surrounded by three Alphas, but I had my eye on one of them from before. I need to do something to isolate him. I punched one of them and he fell unconscious. Is he a real Alpha? I grabbed him and threw him on the other. Then I was alone with the one I had my eye on. Then I heard the smartass say

St: Could you do this before or you can now because you're an Alpha?

I stared at him thinking how serious he is. Then an Alpha tried to hit him.

Me: Stiles, watch out!

I said and pushed him out of the way. It was the Alpha that I had my eye on from the beginning, and we started fighting. I pulled my nails out and stabbed him on the stomach. I put them deep and pulled out, leaving a huge wound on him. Then I heard Luna screaming and I ran to her side.

Jackson's POV

Five Alphas were coming at me. I tried to make my tail come out and I succeeded. I laughed slightly and cut them on the back and they started falling down, paralyzed, one after the other. I saw Kali ready to attack my sister. I run, caught her by the waist and dropped her down. I started hitting her, without mercy, until I saw my hands bloody but no wounds on her because she had healed. I got up, grabbed her from the throat, lifted her high and cut the back of her neck in order to paralyze her with my venom.

Brett's POV

I was fighting with two Alphas. One of them tried to punch me and I ducked and that's how he hit the other one. Haha, how stupid. Kali was ready to attack Jenna, but Jackson took care of her. Then I felt pain on my thigh. My sister. I went to her side and saw that an Alpha has scraped her leg. My eyes turned yellow, I grabbed his head and smashed it twice on the wall and he fell unconscious. Then we heard Luna screaming.

End of Brett's POV

I yelled, managed to get up with difficulty and headed that way. I saw both of them down. Then their leader who was called Deucalion, Deaton told us, laughed devilishly and said

Dn (Deucalion): That happens when you fight with us. Alpha, let's go.

They left. With them they took one who was heavily wounded, Derek did that. Ethan came and stared down.

Et: No. No. My brother. Why?

We hugged.

D: We need to leave.

Me: We... we can't. Aiden!

D: We will call Noah.

I: We have to go, Derek is right.

They helped us up and we left. Next day at the lesson I couldn't talk to anyone. During the lecture.

J: Are you okay?

Me: No, Aiden.

Ar: She isn't talking about that. You're bleeding again.

Me: It's nothing, I will heal.

I: That's what you said yesterday.

Me: I am going to the restroom, I don't feel good.

I: I'll text Allison to help you.

Me: There's... no need.

I left the classroom and went to the restrooms. After a while, Trevor's twin came.

??: Because of you I don't even know if my brother is still alive. Maybe you didn't get it from him, little Luna, but you're going to get it from me. Zac!

Me: Ge-get out, please.

I said weakly. I caught the wound under my chest and my hand was bloody and with a black fluid. Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one to see that.

Z (Zac): You still haven't healed, I see. That's so convenient for me; you can't even move your legs.

As he said that, an evil grin appeared on his face.

Me: What do you want? Leave me alone!

Z: I want you to pay for my brother.

He said that and with a swift move he pushed me to the wall; he was pressing me with such force, like he was trying to break the wall holding me by the shoulders. Then I heard a voice.

Al: Let her go before you regret it.

Z: Haha, I am scared now, human!

He let me fall down.

Al: It's a mistake not being afraid of me. I may be a human, but I am hunter too; that's why I have weapons like this on me.

She threw wolfs bane powder on him. I slowly closed my eyes from exhaustion.

Al: Oh, no, no, don't do this to me Luna, hold on.
