Chapter 6

No ones pov
Probably 30 minutes since Hotch left the doorbell rang. Reid and JJ ran towards it saying 'I wanna get it I wanna get it.' Emily stopped them before they tried to open the door.
"Hurry Em'ly,"they both yelled once they were at the door waiting for Emily.
"Alright I'm coming peanuts," Emily said walking to the door. She saw the rest of the team there with Derek carrying bags of presents all over his arms.
Penelope was carrying a few more and Rossi was carrying what it seemed to be food.
"We figured you guys don't have much so we brought a bit a presents and a home cooked Italian meal made by the one and only Italian stallion, Rossi," Penelope said.
"Penelope not that i'm not grateful, but how much money did you guys spent," Emily said looking at all the bags. She was thinking about going to the mall sometime this week with the kids and Hotch. She couldn't help, but think about Hotch and how his meeting was going.
The kids were looking through their bags to see what they got with the help of Derek and Penelope while Dave moved to Emily because she seem to be lost in a thought.
"Are you alright bella?"
Jumping a bit she looked back at him and said, "I will be yes."
"How was the night and morning so far," Dave asked.
"The night was good, but the morning was a bit eventful. We had two mini breakdowns with the kids arguing with one another."
"Really what happened?"
"Breakfast that's what happens," Emily said not wanting to speak any further about the meltdowns. Looking outside she saw the sky become an ugly gray. She knew the kids would be disappointed about not going to the park in case it rains. However, they could go to the backyard.
Penelope made her way to Emily, "gumdrop how is it being mommy to Reid and JJ?" Rossi went over to tell the kids that they could go outside in the backyard.
"No not mommy, but it's interesting. So far two mini meltdowns which led one to tears," Emily said as they walked to the backyard.
"What about bossman? How is he after hours?" she pried. Emily just shook her head. Of course Penelope would ask. She knows how she feels about him.
"When are we going to start with the rooms. Hotch said we could buy two small beds and a two drawers so far."
"Ah yes Derek and I we are going to do the rooms and no paint right?" she said looking over to Emily.
"Yes no paint and alright."
"Chocolate god come on let's go. We have to go get the beds and dressers," Penelope said waving Hotch's credit card in the air. That caught Emily's eyes.
"Woah since when did you get Hotch's credits card?"she asked. Wondering why he didn't tell her that he was going to be paying.
Morgan came to her side and she said, "He gave it to me yesterday. I'm surprise you didn't noticed."
"Didn't noticed what mama? Derek said.
"Oh Hotch gave me his card to buy everything with. Anyways bye Reid and JJ we will see you later," Penelope said waving her hand again.
Reid came running and screaming, 'I want to go I want to go.' They all looked at Emily for her input.
"Alright you can go, but make sure you're holding Derek's or Penelope's hand. Do you understand?" He nodded quickly and gave her a hug.
"JJ do you want to go with them or stay here with Dave and I?" Emily asked looking over to JJ who stopped to see Reid asking to go with them. She shyly nodded her head no.
"Okay that's fine you don't have to. Alright bud guys don't waste a lot. I need to talk to Hotch about him wasting his money." Emily said as she went to pick up JJ.
Walking back into the house, Emily put cartoons on for JJ who seemed to be really interested on the characters. Emily and Dave went to the kitchen to sit down and talk.
"You know Hotch wanted to pay for it. He didn't want you to. He even told me to stop you from getting mad, but knowing you, you're probably going to give him a lecture that you want to pay as well."
Emily huffed, "You got that right."
Peeking her head a bit from the frame JJ asked, Em'ly can you watch a movie with me."
"The peanut has spoken. Alright yes we can't watch anything." Emily said reaching and grabbing JJ's hand.
Dave stayed back for bit and texted Hotch saying that the miss wasn't happy about him paying for it.
Emily texted Hotch.
'You didn't have to pay for all of it you know.'
He answered a few minutes later, 'I know, but I wanted too.
She replied, 'Thank you, right now JJ and I are going to watch and movie with Dave. Reid decided to go with Derek and Penelope. He's definitely more out spoken than JJ. What time do you get Home?'
He answered right away, 'I'll be home in a hour or two. I have to sort a few things, but I will be there soon. And do you want to speak with JJ later?'
'I'm not sure and okay take care.' She replied.
'You too.'
Emily then got comfortable cuddling JJ and watching cinderella with Dave on the other couch snoring already.

Ps does any noticed that something Prentiss and Hotch be wearing matching suits. Prentiss shirts also be matching Hotch's tie.
