Chapter 19

No ones pov
Hotch heard a small giggle and soft laughter as he lays in his hospital bed.
JJ say him open his eyes a bit before closing it, "you snore very loudly daddy," as she continued to giggle. Then he hears a softer laughter, "you do too JJ," Emily said laughing at JJ's shocked face.
"Look you broke JJ, Em," Hotch said as he smiled.
Emily came closer and gave a kissed on his head and whispered a soft 'good morning' to which he replied with a good morning kiss. JJ now giggling through her hiding behind her hands.
"The doctor said you can leave today" Emily said bringing her chair closer while JJ sat on the bed cuddling to her daddy's side.
"Finally. I'm ready to go home. I don't like hospitals," Hotch said with a frown.
"I know you do, but don't go thinking that you're going to work right away. You're going to be taking time off buddy," Emily said as she grabbed his arm. They heard knocking, "I hope Im not interrupting anything," Dr. Grey said.
"No you're fine. Just here telling Aaron here that once we get home he need to rest for a few weeks before going back to work," Emily said moving so Dr.  Grey can check his vitals.
"Yes im with Emily. You need to rest Aaron. I can see how demanding your job is, but your health comes first. Right JJ, daddy's health comes first?" JJ shyly nodded from where she was laying.
"You should be leaving in a few hours. Everything looks perfect and I'm going to have a nurse come in so they can take your monitors and iv out," Dr. Grey said reaching for the door.
"Thank you Dr. Grey. How long do you say he should stay home for before returning to do light work then going into the field?, Emily asked as she sat down on the chair.
"Giving that these wounds aren't bad, he should be fine resting for a week and a half, before returning to some light work. For going into the field I would suggest 3 weeks. Agent Hotchner I hope you understand these rules and it's for your health so you can get better quicker," Dr. Grey said as she looked at us.
"Alright" Aaron said looking at Emily. Dr. Grey said her goodbye and told them the nurse will come in a bit. Emily passed Hotch his change of clothes and helped him to get dressed.
"The team is waiting. I'm sure Penelope has some cookies for you," Emily said holding his arm. JJ ears perked up at the at the mention of cookies.
"Can I get some cookies," JJ asked shyly.
"Sure princess," said Aaron leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
"You're going to have to take it easy the next few days Aaron," Emily said seriously.
"I know, but I just can't be absent for that long. The team needs me," Hotch said sitting back down.
"I know we need you, but think about your health and how it's important. I don't need you to get hurt again. Plus I need you," Emily said looking at him. He took her hands in his and gave them a gentle squeeze. They heard a knocks at the door jumping them from their thoughts.
A nurse popped in, "Agent Hotcher if you just sign these papers, you'll be ready to leave. However you're going to have to sit on the wheelchair." Aaron looked at Emily, but Emily just have him a straightforward look. He knew better than to argue. So he signed the papers and sat on the wheelchair with JJ carefully sitting on his lap.
TIME SKIP
"I'm ready to go back to work," Aaron said as they laid together in bed.
Emily sat up, "are you sure? Sure we went to the doctors and they said everything is okay, but are your sure?"
"Yes Em. I'm ready," he said with a smile and pulling her on him making her sequel.
it was early morning they were going to take JJ to the doctors to get her shot to if see if she goes back to normal.
"Come on JJ," Emily said as she sees JJ ready and watching tv.
"daddy is waiting in the car," she said helping JJ turn off the tv. She then picked up JJ and locking the door behind her. JJ seemed tired today she she just wrapped her arms and stayed quiet. Emily buckled her in and they were off to one and a half hour drive.
They made sure to have cartoons from the small tv in the car while they were focused to what was about to come.
Emily looked back to see JJ sleeping and then to look at Hotch. she looked at him at said "You know i'm not ready for her to switch to her regular self. Im going to miss baby JJ and having fun taking care of her." she turned around to look at Jj and just smiled.
Aaron put his hand on her thing getting her attention, "i understand. I actually enjoyed playing princesses with JJ. Don't tell anyone that," he said squeezing her thigh. 2 hours later after traffic they arrived Aaron carrying a sleepy JJ and Emily with a bag of clothes.
"Ah Emily and Aaron you're finally here," the doctor said as he walked out of his office leading them to a private room.
"How has JJ been doing?"
"She's been quiet lately, but it could be from me getting injured on the job that scared her," Aaron said as he rubbed Jj's back.
"That's probably why, but I have the shot if you guys just want to settle her down and say any last things," he left giving them some privacy. For the next few minutes they just sat there talking and playing with JJ trying to get the last few minutes of her before she turns into an adult. She went through the same thing Reid has gone through and only wanted to drink alcohol after being a little kid for so long.
Emily and Aaron were a bit sad to not be taking care of anyone so they stayed home to get things cleaned up. They were all given time off to get things better since everyone was back. A few months later Emily and Aaron came in with small smiles and they separate to their desks. Later Emily went up to Aaron's office and all you see is then putting their hands to her stomach. A new miracle was arriving.

ANDDD ITS DONE. Not exactly how I wanted this book to turn out, but thank you to those who stick by and read this book. I'm sorry that it's not best but I've been busy with school so I just wanted to rush this out. Hopefully you guys like it and Thank you so much.
