Chapter 2

Hotch Pov
The doctor enters and Jj curls up into Emily. We locked eyes and she gets up wordlessly with JJ to the bathroom. Reid didn't seem to mind and came to sit on my lap.
"Alright Reid is 4 years old and is at a perfect weight for his height. We need to have his eyes checked and he may need new eye glasses," the doctor said as he sat down across from us.
"Now JJ, she seems to be quiet and a bit underweight. So you have to make sure she eats healthy." Typing away in the computer.
"Now do you have any questions?"
"No." I said.
"Alright have a great day," he said leaving the room. Reid turns in my lap and ask if we were leaving.
"First we have to find Emily and JJ," I said picking him up.
"Come on let's get you some new clothes."
Emily Pov
Walking out with JJ as she ticks her head on my neck. I rub my hand on her back making sure she feels comfortable.
"Are you okay?" I asked continuing to rub her back. I felt her shrugged. I decided to walk to the family bathroom. Locking the door I sat on the couch there with JJ. She starts crying. My instinct was to rub her back and drop a few kisses to her head.
"It's going to be okay." I reassured her.
"No it's not Em'ly. I can't reach anything, I'm short for everything! How am I suppose to leave alone? How am I suppose to go to work now?" she yells.
"You have me and the team. And you can't forget Reid too." We just sat there for a bit until I get a text from Hotch asking if we need clothes to fit JJ. I respond with a we will be there. Picking JJ up, I make me way down to where Hotch and Reid are. Reid looked happy to be in comfortable clothing and seemed fine unlike JJ who is having a harder time.
"Hey. How did it go with the doctor?" I asked as I was picking an outfit for Jj.
" Everything seemed find expect for JJ's weight. She a little underweight so we have to make sure she eats," he said holding Reids hands. A cute scene if you asked me since Hotch is really tall and Reid is just so short now. Walking JJ into a dressing room, I help her change and she seemed to be in a better mood. She went running up to Hotch asking him if he like her outfit. He replied with yes. He would make a great dad someday. Watching him with the kids was adorable.
"Come on. Rossi and Morgan are going to meet with us at the ice cream store." Now that got the kids attention they start to bounce with happiness. "Alright let's go," I said. Walking to car, I realized how much of a family we looked like. Buckling Reid into his booster seat, I noticed that we haven't called Garcia. Oh no she's going to freak out and go crazy. Sitting at the front I ask the kids if they want music which I then put on. I sighed heavily.
Looking over a bit Hotch asks, "Are you alright?"
"Huh yes, but we forgot to tell Garcia about this. His eyes widen in realization.
"Let's call and tell her to go shopping because the kids don't have much clothes with them," I said playing with my fingers.
"Alright call her."
I pull my phone out and ring Garcia let's say my ears were hurting a bit after her cheerful yells. Hotch chuckling at me.
"Hey it's not funny."
" Yeah it is."
"oh whatever." We pulled into the ice cream shop. Seeing Rossi and Morgan's car.
