Chapter 4

Emilys pov
The plane touched ground and I passed Jj to Hotch, who just wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled. Morgan picked up Reid making sure he was still asleep and walked out of the plane. Rossi and I grab the bags. We see Garcia waiting with two big bags hanging from her arms. They were from children's place.
"I'm sorry, but i just had to get something's for them. Omg they are so cute," she whisper squealed. Reid just snuggled into Morgan and Jj was still sleeping.
"Thank you Garcia you didn't have to do that," Hotch whisper bouncing Jj softly.
"How about tomorrow Rossi and Morgan take the kids to the park and us three can clean up their room," I said while Hotch threw a glare at her side. Oops he probably didn't want that to happen. He had to worry about Strauss being on his ass anyway.
We put the kids in Hotch's car good thing I decided to carpool today. We said bye and agree to meet at Hotch's around 12pm, while I didn't have a choice I have to live there for a bit.
Looking back the kids are still asleep and there's a nice quiet silent between us. Almost like we were a family.
Breaking the silence I said, "I'm worry about them you know. They've been sleeping since we made it to the airport woke up a bit, but now they are sleeping without us disturbing them. How long did the doctors say they would be like that for?"
He sighed, "I'm not sure and they aren't sure. If anything bad happens we would have to take them back to the doctors." I just nodded my head and looked outside the window. The silence luring me to sleep.
Hotch pov
Looking over to my right as I pull into my drive, I see everyone asleep. Briefly touching Emily shoulder in a soft voice I woke her up.
"Come on let's bring the kids to bed. I'm sure you want Jj to sleep with you. I'll have Reid sleep with me," I said taking my seatbelt off. I walked over and carried Reid while Emily carried Jj. I opened the door and walked in.
I showed Emily her room and showed her, her en-suite bathroom. We both laid them together while I went to pick up our go bags and the Children's place bags. Walking back in, Emily woke them up.
"Is it morning yet?" asked Reid. JJ just rubbed her eyes.
"No it's still nighttime, but we got you guys pajamas to change into," Emily said pushing some of Reid's hair back.
"Come on let's change you, stinky."
"Hey I'm not stinky!!," exclaimed Reid. Emily dropped a kiss to his head and Jj's. I just watched from the door.
"Are you going to stand there or come in with the bags," she said winking to the kids. I walked in and gave her Jj's Children's Place bag and her go bag. A silent agreement passed through our eyes. We agreed to talk in the living room after we put the kids to bed. Picking up Reid we said goodnight and walked back into my room. Closing the door, I walked by Emily's room and saw her singing Jj back to sleep. She was rocking her side by side. Once she made sure she was sleeping she walked out. Bumping into me, "oh I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." I noticed she was blushing a bit.
"No no don't worry. Come on let's go," I said sort of nudging her to the living room. We sat down and weird awkward pause happen.
"Alright so tomorrow I can't help you with fixing the room because I need to speak with Strauss, but please don't do much to the room. We aren't sure how long they are going to stay like that," I said looking at her. She was picking her fingernails something she does when she gets nervous.
"You trust Garcia to fix the room up without you being here," she said chuckling.
"Well you'll be here so I trust you to not let her go overboard please."
"How long do you think they will be like this?" I asked running my hands through my hair.
She looked at me and said, "I don't know. This whole situation is frustrating. I don't know how to take care of kids or cook very well." She continued to ramble until she realized that she was rambling. Again she turned red.
"What do you mean? You have been doing good with them. I saw you rocking JJ to sleep while singing softly. I saw you joking with Reid," I said with a big smile.
"You saw me rocking Jj to slee you stalker," she said with a hint of mischief in her eyes.
"Umm no I was just I was going..." I rambled.
"I'm just joking I saw you." I looked over the to the time and saw that it was 2am and it was getting late since I had a meeting with Strauss at 9am. While the rest would either be going to the park or fixing the room.
"Let go to bed. I have a meeting with Strauss earlier morning and I want the kids to be awake and eating breakfast by the time I leave," I said getting up and helping her up.
"So you're going to hell when you meet with the ice queen. She's going to have your head," she said rubbing her eyes.
"Oh shut it," I said reaching over to her and pulling her closely to me. Realizing what I did I let go quickly and felt my face turned red.
I turned to the kitchen because I needed to get water and the air felt a little tense.
"I'm going to get water, do you want some?"
"No no i'm going to check on Reid if that's okay and then check on JJ before getting ready for bed. Oh I need to get more clothes if i'm going to be staying here for a bit. So if we can go to my apartment to get some extra clothes that would be nice to do after the meeting and park," she said walking towards the stairs.
"Yeah we'll do that. Goodnight Emily sleep well," I said.
"You too Hotch sleep well," she said walking up the stairs.
I turned around and finished my glass of water. Don't think about the meeting you're going to get a headache I said to myself. Walking towards my room I heard running water so she was getting herself ready for bed. I got ready and checked on Reid and he was still sleeping when I got into bed. With my thoughts running through my brain I fell asleep.
