Chapter 7

Emily pov
Who knew JJ could be so cuddly? After starting the movie, she moved even closer to me if that was even possible. Subconsciously, I rubbed her bellying and while she was sucking on her fingers.
Checking over my phone I see a text message from Penelope. Opening her message I see a messy Reid with ice cream all over his face.
'Before going shopping, we took a quick detour and got ice cream.' She wrote with a smiley face.
'He's adorable, but make sure to clean his face. I don't want a sticky little boy walking into the house.' I wrote back chuckling a bit.
'Got it wonder women.' she replied back. Looking back down, I realize that JJ was staring at me the whole time.
"Was that Ho'ch? Is he coming back?" she mumbled through her fingers.
"No just Penelope sending a picture of Reid. Do you want Hotch to come back? I can text him if you want," I said pulling her fingers out of her mouth. I felt her nod into my chest.
'JJ is asking for you. If you can come back home any moment now if you can please come. I don't want a meltdown and I need to go to my apartment for somethings.'
A few minutes later he replied, 'Is she alright and we can go when I come back. I'll be home soon.'
I replied, 'She seems alright. Maybe she just wants you. Plus I need to get away from Dave's snoring.'
'Of course he is. I'lol be home right away.'
"JJ, I said to get her attention.
"Hotch is leaving the office soon and will be home shortly," I said looking down at her and smoothing her hair back.
"Do you want to tell me why you want Hotch and do you want to come to my apartment?"
She just shrugged but said, "Are you going to stay over there because I was lying in the morning."
"No I'm just going to get some more clothes. I'm not leaving you besides that was a bad move. You learned not to do it," I said feeling a little worried on why she thought I was going to leave her.
There was a quiet silence besides Rossi's snoring she JJ asked, "Why does Rossi snore so loud?"
I laughed and said, "Because he's an old guy." She seem satisfied with the answer and turned her attention back to the tv.
About 15 minutes later and still a snoring Rossi, I hear the keys jiggled and there Hotch walked in. She

heard and ran yelling 'Hotch Hotch you're here.' They came back with Hotch carrying JJ and her bouncing a bit with her arms around him. I'm starting to think that she has some separation anxiety. I would think that Reid would because he parents but he dad didn't leave when he was 4 which make sense.
No one pov
Rossi woke up the JJ screaming of Hotch, but he still pretend to be sleeping. He saw Emily staring at Aaron was admiration. He knew right then and there that Emily loved Hotch. He already knew that Aaron loved Emily. They talked about it a few weeks ago.
Hotch pov
I walked into the house after a long meeting with Strauss to JJ running to me and yelling my name. I walked into the living and saw Emily sitting up and a snoring Rossi in one couch.
"Hey how was your day going so far," I asked.
"Not very eventful, but do you think we can talked later about the kids? And how was your meeting," she asked kind of worryingly.
"How about we speak about that later tonight when the kids are in bed?" I offered. She just nodded.
"Alright peanut what are we going to do know?" she asked JJ. JJ just shrugged and got more comfortable in my arms.
Emily asked her, "How about you go and run on Rossi to wake him up. After we can go to my apartment and get my clothes, but I think we deserve a little treat after. What do you think about ice cream?" JJ just nodded and pushed her arms out so Emily can put her down. She than ran over to Rossi yelling his name only to then poke him in the cheek.
Emily and I stayed back and just chuckled. Rossi woke up, "Oh what a surprise! What do you need me to do miss JJ," he asked her.
"We are going to Emily's apartment and then going for ice cream," she said excitedly. He looked over and saw us nodding.
"Alright I will make some dinner when everyone comes back," he said looking in between us.
No one pov
Emily got JJ ready and then the three walked out into Hotch's car. In the meantime Morgan, Penelope, and Reid were arriving to Hotch's home. They went to fix the room and it looked good for kids. (i'm kind of lazy to write how the room looks. plus i'm tired it's 4am as i write this)
Hotch took JJ out of her seat and all three walked up to Emily's apartment.
Looking around Emily said, "How about you guys just sit down in the living room watching something while I get some bags ready." JJ and Hotch sat down and turned on the tv. Around 30 minutes later, she came down with a big duffle bag.
"Alright let's go for some ice." JJ cheered where she was walking, right in between them.
They went for ice cream which JjJ seemed to get all over herself. Emily took her to the bathroom to wash her hands and clean her face, when an old lady touched Hotch and said, "What a beautiful family you have there."
Hotch blushed a bit, but didn't have the nerve to correct her, "I am an incredible lucky man to have those wonderful ladies in my life." She then left and Emily and a happy JJ came out.
They walked into the house with the smell of cooking happening.
"Oh good you're here. Come on check the room guys," Penelope said walking to Emily and pulling her to the room. Hotch and JJ just trailed behind. They were impressed it was a beautiful room for them.
Later after everyone left and the kids were showered and asleep, Emily and Hotch had a glass of wine and sat down to talk.
"What do you think is wrong with JJ," Hotch started.
"I'm not sure she freaked out about being turn little, but now she seems to have separation anxiety. She  wanted you to come home after leaving for a few hours. I thought Reid would have that problem since his father left when he was younger, but he seems fine since he still isn't at that age." She continued to ramble until Hotch grabbed her hand. She realized what she was doing and started blushing immediately.
"Well the good news is that Strauss is allowing our time off for a good month until we can figure a plan out or if they finally turn to adults again," Hotch said. Emily looked relieved.
"Okay that's good. A month off work that's is a early christmas present to us." They turned on the tv and watched a movie. By the time they were done, both we sleepily and decided to call it a night. They went to check on the kids and saw JJ sleeping with her fingers in her mouth and hugging and ready bear she got from Derek. Reid was spread out on his bed with a book nearby.
They went to their rooms and got situated to bed, waiting what the next day would bring them.

I kind of rushed the end, but hear me out I was really tired and it was 4am and I wanted to get this chapter out a few hours earlier. I ended up finishing it now so I hope it is good.
