Chapter 16

No ones pov
Today was the day that the doctor had the shots ready. Today they are hoping to turn the kids back into agents as well for them to regain their memory.
"Good morning," Emily sang a bit walking into the kids room. JJ tossed and turn not wanting to get up while Reid sprang out of bed and ran up to Emily.
"Good morning mama," he said and gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. Before running out of the room to find Hotch.
"Oh JJ wake up before the tickle monster comes," Emily said hoping to wake her up. JJ still didn't move making Emily creep towards her careful.
"And i'm going to get you," Emily said tickling JJ side making the little JJ squeal with joy and giggles.
She ended up picking JJ and bringing her downstairs for breakfast where Reid had blueberries smashed all over his face.
"Aaron are you not watching him. He's a blueberry," she said giving a kiss to his cheek and one to Reid.
"Love you bubs," she said also rubbing his hair back.
"So we have to leave before 1," Emily said sitting JJ down on the chair. She went to grab two bowls of cereal for JJ and her.
"Yes since Spencer and I are basically done, we'll start getting ready," He said picking up the plates with Reid following him like a lost puppy.
"Can we get a fishie?" JJ randomly asked Emily as she put a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.
"I'm not sure. How about we ask Aaron after the doctor visit today?" Emily said looking at her.
"Do you think he let us?" She asked again batting her eyelashes. All Emily thought was 'Wow JJ is adorable as a kid. Glad she won't remember this when she goes back to normal today.' Which is why Emily didn't know if they will get a fish or not.
45 minutes later they were out of the house and getting into the car.
"Mama I hafta peee," Yelled JJ from her car seat. Since they haven't left Emily quickly picked her up as Hotch threw her the keys. Emily quickly made her way up and unlocking the door following JJ.
Hotch looked back at Reid, "Do you have to go to the bathroom?" he said. Reid shook his head no. Hotch signed deeply. He has been working for a few days and was already called to travel out. That meant Emily had to take care of the kids together without his help. And all he wants if to help her and spend time with her.
"Alright we're back and almost going to be late for our appointment," Emily said buckling JJ in and giving her a kiss.
"Don't worry we're going to make it on time," Hotch said reaching over to grab her hand making her smile.
They made it over in 30 minutes. Surprisingly it was very quiet. The doctor quickly greeted them and talked to them about the shot. Luckily the kids would not remember anything and would wake up thinking they were in a coma. (Idk what to write there tbh). They brought extra clothes so they can change into. The rest of the team was waiting already waiting in the waiting room.
"Pennyyy," JJ yelled as she dropped Emily's hand from holding it running towards Penelope who opened her arms up.
"Oh my goodness. Look how you grown," She said picking her up. Reid stayed back with Hotch holding him. He seemed nervous and was sucking on his thumb. Resting between Hotch and Emily waiting for everything to be ready. JJ was talking and giggling with Derek and Penelope while Rossi was talking to Emily and Hotch.
"Spencer and Jennifer you come right this way," the nurse said. Only Emily and Hotch went the other decided stay back and wait for the news.
JJ hid behind Hotch reach for his hand and Reid and Emily were ahead. Hotch had his hand behind Emily's back giving comfort to her knowing how nervous she's been.
"So nobody has been sick. Everyone has been feeling fine?" he asked.
"Yes they have been eating and playing around like little kids do," Hotch said sitting down carrying JJ while Emily sat with Spencer on the table.
"Alright so this won't take long. It will be a quick shot, but you'll will have to stay for 15 minutes in the observation room. Preferably Aaron can be with Reid and Emily you can be with JJ," he said getting up to leave so he can get the shots.
"I'll start with Spencer then Jennifer," he stated as he got Aaron to lay Spencer down. He quickly injected the shot in his thigh while Reid was distracted. Thankful he didn't cry. Next he moved to JJ and injected the shot on her thigh was well. She felt the shot and began to cry. Emily hoped into bed with her and bought her to her arms. Aaron covered them up with a blanket giving Emily a kiss on the mouth and JJ on the head. Reid was still distracted but was beginning to fall asleep.
"Are they suppose to feel tired?" Aaron asked looking over at Reid before looking over to his girls.
"Yes it's completely normal after those 15 minutes Spencer should be at his age. He'll probably be confused so it would be better to explain what went on. Same goes with Jennifer," he said writing some things on his chart.
"I'll be back soon. If anything is happening or doesn't seem okay just press the button for the nurses so they can call me. I will quickly come over," he said as he got up to the door leaving them to quietness.
They next few minutes they were quiet and just resting until Reid began to work out a sweat and tremble a bit.
"Reid Spencer answer me," Hotch said getting up quickly and calling for the nurse and doctors. Emily also sat up looking back and forth between Reid and JJ. JJ seem to be fine and watching tv instead of being like Reid.
"Is everything alright," asked the doctor entering the room looking over at Reid. He quickly frown but then realized and remember that it was working.
"Oh no everything is going good actually. This means it is working and he should soon be waking up as an adult," he said walking over to get a closer look at Reid.
"Well why isn't JJ like that,"asked Emily was a small frown looking at JJ then at Reid.
"I'm not sure. I believe it is not working on her just like it's working on Spencer," he said checking over JJ who seemed interested in watching tv while playing with Emily's fingers.
As they all looked over at JJ they didn't see or hear Reid turn finally into his regular self.
"umm Hotch," squeaked Reid. Making everyone look over at him. Somehow JJ remember him and yelled his name.
"Omg Reid it worked. You're finally you're regular self," Emily exclaimed. For the next 30 minutes they sat in the office talking with the doctor and explaining everything that happened. They decided to keep working on the vaccine for JJ, but as of right now they couldn't do much.
A few minutes later they walked out with a sleep JJ on Hotch, an anxious Reid and a tired Emily.
"Omg what happened," Penelope said walking up with the rest following behind.
"Well it didn't work for JJ, but somehow it did with Spencer," Hotch said.
"The only thing we can do now is wait until they figure out what's wrong r why it didn't work with JJ," Emily said touching Hotch's arm.
"I need a drink," Reid finally speaking. Hotch has given him the week off and there's no work tomorrow for the rest.
"I'll go with your pretty boy," Derek said clapping on his back and Penelope quickly agreed. Rossi declined and said he was going home to take a nap. Emily and Hotch just wanted to go home plus they had a sleeping JJ.
Hotch put a sleeping JJ in her car seat and got in. He reached over and grabbed Emily's hands.
"We'll talking later. I can see and I know how stress you are. Everything is going to be fine," he says bringing her for a kiss.
"Can we stop by for a bite," she said looking back at JJ.
"Sure. Now let's go."
A hour later they were home cuddling in the couch with JJ making a big mess in the floor. She doesn't realize or remember someone else being there with her.
"Do you think Spencer is going to be okay?" Emily asked reach to move her hands through Hotch's hair while his strong arms were wrapped around her waist.
"I'm sure of him getting wasted would be good enough," Hotch said chuckling. Emily just nodded he knew she wasn't fine rather more anxious. She got up to bring JJ to bed. When she walked downstairs she saw Hotch standing in the middle of the living room with his dress shirt out of his pants.
"What are you doing?" she said looking confused. Hotch turned on some slow jazz music and held an arm out for her to take. He slowly pulled her so that her back was against his chest. His strong arms wrapped around her waist leaning his head forward so he can press a kiss on her neck.
"Come on dance with me," he said as he pressed kisses up to her ear and began to rock them slowly side to side causing Emily to close her eyes and lean into his touch.
A few minutes in he started talking, "I know I haven't been around much due to working and I can tell how stress you are getting. If you want I can take some time off to continue helping you."
Emily spun herself around, "No I know the job and I've been a little stress with the kids, but now we have one. And I can't help but wonder what went wrong during the vaccination."
I don't know either Em. The only thing we can do is be the best parents for her and give her things," he said pulling them closer if possible. Emily leaned up and gave him a slow but passionate kiss.
He broke the kiss and leaned his forehead against hers, "This might be a little to soon, but I love you Emily Prentiss and I love that little girl we're taking care of too. You two are my two girls and I value to protect you guys first and I know you don't need the protection, but I love you so much and that's what I want.
"I love you too Aaron Hotchner."
Both with their eyes close sharing this romantic movement only opening when they heard some tiny foot sounds coming down the stairs.
"Mama dada what are you doing," she asked coming closer to them and wiping her tired eyes before reaching for Hotch.
"We're just dancing JJ," Hotch said breaking out of his hugging from Emily to carry JJ. She put her head on her shoulder. Hotch also pulled Emily close to him. He whispered, "I love you my girls."
The gentle rocking slowly bought JJ to close her eyes. The soft Jazz music made her fall asleep. They decided it was time for bed anyways. They turned off the music and bought her up to her room each whispered goodnight and so love yous to her. Walking to their room arms around each body whispering how much they loved each other. The night was filled with exploring each other's body but with this profound passionate night of love and feelings. Couldn't have been better for the both of them.

I'm sorry for taking forever. But I finally finished school so hopefully I'm posting more, but I'm also stuck a bit. If anyone have any ideas it would be great. Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter. see you soon!!
