No ones pov
"mama can we do something fun," JJ asked as Hotch pushed the shopping cart with Emily besides him looking at the list of foods they need.
Hotch stepped in seeing that Emily was going to grab some spaghetti, "actually mama is going to penny's tonight, but she'll come later. So it's just going to be you and me and we can do whatever you want."
He lean further down to whisper in her ear, "We can even have ice cream sundaes without mommy maybe for dinner we can." This made JJ nod quickly as her eyes widen.
Emily scoffed lightly and move closer to Hotch, "Dont you dare giving her ice cream for dinner if you want a hyper child," she said then giving him a kiss on the cheek. He just nodded but winked to JJ when Emily was reaching for tomato sauce. It made her giggle so Hotch out his finger to his lips saying to keep quiet which made JJ do the same.
"What are you guys doing," Emily said looking back towards them. Both shook their head 'nothing.' Smiling back to her.
"Okay be good for daddy and I'll be back soon." Emily said hugging JJ and giving her a kiss.
"And please feed her actual food. Don't think i know what you were planning earlier," Emily said moving to Hotch to give him a kiss.
"Yes dear," he said with a small smile pushing some of her hair back.
"I'll be home later love you," She closed the door with them yelling 'i love you too mama.'
"Okay now that mama is gone what should we do," Hotch said carrying JJ.
JJ put her finger to her mouth a move she does when she thinks, "umm let's play tea party but we have to dress as princess and wear makeup."
Hotch held back a groan of course she wants that. He has seen her play it before. He looked at her, "Do I have to wear makeup."
"Yes daddy you have too," she said putting her hands on his cheeks.
"Okay okay, but what princess should I be," he said moving them to her play area.
Daddy I wanna be Cinderella please," JJ said pointing over to the dresses. He quickly set her down and she ran to go get it. She tried putting it on but was having difficulty with it so chuckling Hotch helped her.
"Okay where's your crown now," he said looking around. He saw many lying in a pile together. JJ had already picked hers and had it in her hands. Hotch took it from her and placed it on her head with giving her a kiss on her forehead too.
"There you look beautiful."
"But we need makeup."
"Okay okay, only lipstick. Now where is the makeup," he said looking down at her.
"Right here daddy," JJ said pointing to a small purse that had a lot of lipstick and chapsticks.
"You can have the red lipstick," JJ said putting the red lipstick in his hand. He had a tiara on. He couldn't fit the dresses for obvious reasons.
He applied it and turned around to face JJ, "How does it look."
"You look pretty daddy," she said already putting on the lipstick.
"and you look gorgeous. Now come let's go play," bringing her to her tea party.
"Soo you got to tell me everything from the beginning and I meant from the beginning," Penelope said sitting with Emily at a restaurant.
"Well what do you want to know. You know everything at this point," Emily said checking out the menu.
"Umm no I don't know. Like is boss man fun to be around after work hours? Does he play with JJ? Does he cook for you guys? What does he do? Is he good in bed?" she continued to ramble and Emily just stared at her.
"What why are you staring at me like that," Penelope asks. Emily just shook her head.
"Yes he cooks. He's a better cook than me, but we both know i'm pretty decent. Yes he is fun. Under the suit, he's handsome and he shows a different side of him. Usually I get to see it, but it rare at work.   Again under the suit is the perfect man in bed too." she said with this dreamy look in her face.
"Wow you are in some deep romantic feelings. But you haven't answered does he plays with the kids well now JJ? And have you guys said the 'I love yous' yet?" she said taking a sip out of her wine.
"Yes we have. The other night we did," she said smiling at the memory which Penelope caught on.
"Oh now you got to tell me," Penelope sort of shrieked.
"We were dancing and we said it. Then JJ woke up and we danced a bit more before going to sleep," Emily said trying to keep it short.
If possible Penelope's smile grew even more. Emily's phone lit up. Penelope looked over and it was a text from Hotch.
"You still have his name as Hotch. Really! Why not babe or superman. And open the messageee," she exclaimed.
"Okay okay," Emily said. She opened the message and it turned out to be a photo taken from JJ's pov. In the photo your see a blurry photo of JJ and Hotch wearing tiaras and lipsticks. She quickly smiles at the picture before showing it to Penelope.
"OMG NO WAY BOSSMAN WOULD PUT LIPSTICK. OMG EKKK. THIS IS TOO CUTE. THEY ARE MATCHING. Why didn't you tell me he was like this?" Penelope questioned.
"You never ask," Emily said quickly typing 'are you guys having a princess tea party without me.' He quickly responds with a white heart.
"Looks like they're having a princess tea party," she said as she put her phone down.
"YOU DIDNT TELL ME THAT BOSSMAN PLAYS LIKE THAT. THATS SO CUTE," she continued to ramble.
"Daddy," JJ said putting her tea cup down. While Hotch was in the middle of drinking his with his pinky.
"Yes," he said putting his cup down.
"Can we build a fort," she said climbing on his lap. He agreed to it right away. He could never said no it was always yes. 30 minutes later they had chairs and blankets filled thoughts the living room. It was a big fort in which they could even watch tv from.
"Can we sleep here tonight with mama," she said squealing and jumping at the idea.
"I guess we can, but first we have to eat dinner," he said picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder.
"Mama you here," JJ said running up to the door that Emily was coming through.
"Baby how was your evening today," Emily said picking up JJ who curled into her. Resting her head in the crook of her and wrapping her feet across her waist.
"We played princess tea party and daddy wore lipstick," she said closing her eyes.
Emily chuckled, "Yes he was and you were too." Hotch meet Emily at the living room where her eyes widen.
"What is going on here," she said giving a long kiss to Hotch.
"Surprise we're sleeping her tonight. Requested specifically by the princess," he said leaning down to give her another kiss.
"Well I guess we have to change and get ready for a movie night here," she said grabbing Hotch's arm which he wrapped around her waist moving towards the stairs.
10 minutes later they were changed and brining pillows down. They set a disney movie on which jeep JJ interested in.
"You look gorgeous by the way with the lipstick on," Emily said kissing Hotch in the lips that were still tainted red. He blushed a little.
"How was your dinner?"
"Good and relaxing to have wine," she said winking.
"Are you sure you can sleep here tonight without waking up with some back issues," Emily teased and cracked a smile from Hotch. He just brought her closer to him and laying back in the fort with JJ sitting in front of them.
"I'll be okay I'm superman."
"If you say so super man. I love you."
"I love you too."
He wasn't okay in the morning. His back was hurting but he didn't dare to tell Emily knowing it was going to make her laugh and tease him all day.
