"I'm getting sick of eating the same thing!"

"Oppa, please just eat it. Look at you! You're getting so much better!"

Baekhyun sighed out loud as he eyed the bowl full of porridge in your hands with absolute disgust.

"Baek, just eat it." Jin prompted his friend.

"But, it tastes so bland and I'd rather eat---"

"Eat it." Jin and you said collectively.

Baekhyun helplessly looked at Jin who winked, making the older to raise an eyebrow in suspicion. Slowly, Baekhyun got the porridge from you and started eating it. One spoon turned to two and to five and to many. Baekhyun looked up to see a smiling Jin.

"Look at you practically inhaling the food!" You cheered, oblivious. "I knew you were hungry!"

"Guess I was." Baekhyun smiled at you.

"Jin, please make sure he eats the whole thing. I've gotta go now." You told Jin.

"Oh, don't worry, he will." Jin replied and you nodded before you grabbed your wallet and left.

"What did you put in this? It tastes amazing---like japchae!" Baekhyun exclaimed as you had closed the door to his room.

"I added japchae flavouring. No living thing can eat porridge for three months straight. Thought you needed something nice." Jin responded as Baekhyun began squealing like a highschool teenager.

"You are the bestestestestest friend!!!" Baekhyun said, hugging himself. "I love you!"

Jin began replying, "Yeah, I know. I'm so irresistible that even I can't help but fall in love with myse---"

"I thought the doctor said no flavoured or spicy food until three months." You had barged into the room once more, leaning against the doorframe with your arms crossed against your chest and a pissed off expression on your face, picking at your nails.

"Y-Y/N I... Um, h-he, how can he eat just porridge for so many days? Besides, it's been three months already! He's healthy as a horse!" Jin defended but shut up as soon as you had glared at him menacingly.

"There's still a week for the three months to end." You said. Jin and Baekhyun exchanged looks and gulped nervously. "Follow the instructions of the doctor if you want to get better. It's your choice." That was all you said before leaving the room and apartment for real.

Baekhyun sighed sullenly. "She's mad, isn't she?"

"Baek, you know how she feels about this. She thinks all of this is her fault." Jin reasoned out, scooting closer to the man child. "She's just afraid something will go wrong if we don't do exactly as the doctor says."

"I know... But I'm totally fine now." Baekhyun argued. "And I've told her multiple times it wasn't her fault. I chose to inject myself."

"But you did it for her and that makes her guilty." Jin said as Baekhyun looked away. "Just do as she says and get better. That's the only way she can get better. She hasn't had a proper sleep in the past three months. She's constantly worried about you. So, the sooner you get better, the sooner she can be happier and the sooner all of us can go on that amusement park trip we had planned."

"Okay." Baekhyun smiled widely.

Three months.

[Yes. Another time skip.]

It had been three months since Baekhyun had been confined to his bed after the check up at the hospital. A lot had happened. Firstly, his situation was not revealed to the fans and they were quite a bit upset over it but, the agency was handling things well by giving the fans comebacks by other idols. His stomach ulcer healed in just one and a half months, surprisingly. He had also undertaken a process where his blood was completely removed from his body and purified and then sent back. Kind of like dialysis but not exactly.
