"Thank you, Miss Lee!" The children exclaimed in unison.

"Go home safely, kids." You waved at them as they began dispersing from your doorstep.

However, one boy remained, his head tilted down.

"What is it, Akachi?" You asked the nine year old as you crouched down to his level, your hands on his shoulders.

"Miss Lee, I'm very sad." The African kid looked up at you, eyes glossed over with tears and his lips jutting out in an adorable pout.

"Why is that so?" You asked him, voice soft.

"M-My elder sister, she died last week. A car hit her."

Your eyes softened as you cupped his cheeks gently and wiped his tears away using your thumbs.

"And why are you sad?" You asked him.

"Because I can't see her. I can't hug her. She can't protect me from my bullies. She can't make me my favourite food. She can't sew me sweaters. She isn't with me." The boy cried as he reached forward and hugged you tightly, his tears draining through your shirt.

You patted his back soothingly and when he finally seemed to have stopped crying, you pulled away to look at him with a tender smile.

"Who told you she isn't with you, Akachi?" You asked him. "She's always with you. Right here." You placed your index finger against the left side of his frail chest. "As long as you remember her and love her, she'll always stay with you and protect you."

"How would you know?" He sniffled.

"Because I've lost someone too." You smiled at him. "I think about him everyday. I cry sometimes as well but, do you know what keeps me going?" You asked him and he shook his head. "Tell me Akachi, if your sister were here, would she have liked to see you crying?"

He shook his head and you smiled.

"So, you've gotta do what makes them happy. You've gotta eat lots of food, sing songs, play with your friends, make your parents proud. You've gotta live."

Akachi looked down as he tried to comprehend what you were saying. A moment later, he lifted his head up with a happy smile on his face.

"You're right, Miss Lee!" He giggled. "Thank you so much!" He giggled again and leaned in, chastely pecking your cheek as you couldn't help but join his cute giggling fit.

"Now, run along and go straight home, okay?" You ruffled his hair and he nodded before beginning to walk down the hallway. "Don't forget to do your homework!" You yelled after him and he shot you a thumbs up before going down the complex's stairs.

You sighed and closed your apartment's door as you went to your bedroom and changed your clothes.

Ten months.

Ten miserable months had passed.

The first thing you did after what you did back then was handing over the Lees to the Kims.

The Lees were over and you really didn't care about the Parks. You had gotten your revenge for Baekhyun by killing your father and that was all that mattered.

You didn't stay around for more than an hour. You took a direct flight to the most remote corner in Africa, cutting off ties with everyone. You just couldn't bear to stay in Korea for one more moment.

Naya was the only one who knew where you were and had your number.

You had no idea what was going on with Twilight and BTS. You didn't know how people reacted to what happened with Baekhyun and Taehyung and didn't know what excuse SM and BigHit gave the fans.
