When I see your eyes light up when you talk about your favorite topic,
My heart is lighter and I just want to kiss your nose.
When you look at me with a greeting on your lips,
My body relaxes and I finally am home
When I'm acting crazy and can't find the words,
You give me the space to find myself
When we go to bed and you pull me closer
I feel like I could float away from under your arms
When you give me light kisses over my face
I close my eyes to secret that moment away to my heart
When you reach for me from just across the room and our fingertips meet
It's a joining of souls and endless
I love you in a million different moments and spaces
If I could number the grains of sand on the beach with each special moment I still wouldn't have enough.
You are my light and my home and I'm so much the better for you.
