Your careless words slid under my skin into my heart to rend it to pieces.
Your thoughtless actions showed me just how little I mean to you.
Your wandering glance cuts me to the quick because you, someone I called friend, couldn't see me.
I stand fighting back tears. Tears that I can't allow to fall otherwise they'll never stop.
I stand fighting my heart. Beating so painfully in my chest I wish it'd burst.
I stand fueling my anger. Hoping that it will ,but knowing that it can't, burn up my deep irrational sadness.
I see all the couple's embraces, wordlessly, soundlessly, seriously. You, who I called friend, scoff when I beg for some comfort.
You, who I called friend, look at my tear stained face and say "you can do better"
You, who I called friend, with your thoughtless habits leave me broken, shattered on the floor for all the world to ignore
