Your gentle breathing at night reminds me
Reminds me of a cool summer breeze through the trees
A soft lullaby sung in a dark night
Of safety on your strong chest

Your warmth reminds me
Reminds me of autumn leaves still warm from the summer sun
Of sand at the beach still holding to hear from the day
Of life constantly flowing and wrapping around us

Your voice reminds me
Reminds me of a bird call, sweet and pure on the wind
Of a waterfall when it flows over the rocks smoothing all rough edges
Of the love you have for this life wrapped in every syllable

Your eyes remind me
Remind me of the sunset, dimmer colors with a million reflections on their depths
Of the earth and the life it creates and the surety of it
Of the strength of character you have to have carved out the life you have

You remind me that I can be strong while still feeling
That I can be confident even when I don't know what im doing.
You remind me to search for happiness and joy while helping me find it effortlessly
You remind me of the love I had for life and im glad that you're in my life.
