Marinette was giddy as night fell. She had managed to avoid the entire Wayne clan all day, and subsequently the looming Lecture she was going to get. But before she dealt with that, she had another problem to solve.

While she'd been playing on their giant computer, (seriously who needed a computer that big?) a notice had popped up saying that Talia Al Ghul was within Gotham limits. Marinette had sent the notification to her phone and then continued playing.

Now she was gearing up to confront her half-brother's mother. Who's an expertly trained assassin. That shouldn't be traumatizing at all.

"Are you sure this is wise, Marinette?" Wayzz asked worriedly, "This will be your first time wielding a Miraculous since the final battle against Hawk Moth. And even now, months later, you are still not fully recovered."

Marinette nodded to the turtle-like kwami, "I know Wayzz, but this is something I need to do."

The kwami of protection nodded, "Of course, Guardian. Who will be accompanying you?"

Marinette smiled, "Mullo, Plagg, Sass, and Trixx. I need the rest of you to stay here and keep the nosey bats out of here, so they don't realize I'm gone." All the kwami nodded, and the four that Marinette had called flew to her side.

Before long, the kwami had a fake Marinette in bed, and Multimouse, MultiFox, MultiChat, and MultiSnake were out the window and into the dark Gotham night.

---

When the four finally found Talia, MultiChat landed far enough from the assassin that she wouldn't be seen as a threat, but close enough for Talia to know that it was intentional. "Who are you? Don't you know that bats don't like their territory being crossed?" Talia asked with cool amusement.

"They share just fine with other cats, I'm sure they won't mind one more." MultiChat replied smoothly, "Besides I'm here to find out why you've decided to come to Gotham."

Talia smirked, and Multi instantly saw where Damian got it from, "I've recently learned that my son has a sister. I wanted to meet her for myself."

At that MultiFox and Multimouse landed beside MultiChat. Talia tensed and prepared to fight. Only to be stopped by Multimouse saying, "Then perhaps you could drop by their manor tomorrow morning for a late breakfast and meet her there. I'm sure it would make everyone involved more comfortable."

"If you can stand your ground one on one then I will consider it."

All three smirked, "I was hoping you'd say that."

---

MultiSnake watched the interaction ready to call a Second Chance... again. Hopefully, she would get it right this time. As the fight commenced, she relaxed slightly. This was going better than the last times.

---

As the four Multi's were out fighting/negotiating with Talia, Tim was busy going over the notifications of the last forty-eight hours to make sure they hadn't missed anything.

"WHAT!?"

Once again all the other bats rushed down to the cave, only to be met with a Tim who was actually panicking.

"Tim what's wrong?!" Dick shouted trying to get his attention.

Tim pointed at the screen as he hit his forehead against the wall, "I was so caught up in her high scores, I didn't even notice that Talia's in town, right now, and has been for at least twenty-four hours. Who knows where she is or what she's planning! I can't believe I missed this!"

The bats all stood frozen as the minutes stretched on. Then, like someone switched on a light, they all said, "Marinette."

So! Guess who sorta-kinda-almost died today! I was donating blood, and everything was fine, good iron levels, good blood pressure, healthy temperature. I go sit on one of the donation beds, they take the blood, everything's fine. They give me the spiel about taking it easy for the next few days, I'm fine. They point me towards the snacks. I stand, and something's wrong. I'm dizzy, lightheaded, there's a ringing in my ears, and my vision is going dark. I make it halfway to the snack table when I fall. My legs just come out from under me, and the next thing I know, I'm laying on the floor with the Red Cross people telling me not to stand up. They make me lay down for another like twenty minutes. So I'm laying there and all I can think is that my sister is going to laugh when she hears about this. This has nothing to do with the story but it is kinda funny so do what you will with it!

Anyways, comment what you thought!
