Marinette smoothed her dress and fiddled with the two brooches, the bracelet, and the circlet she was currently wearing. To the kwami who would be accompanying her, she asked, "Are we ready to do this?"
Xuppu laughed happily, "This will be great!"
Duusuu chirped excitedly, "I can't wait!"
Nooroo settled into Marinette's palm, "Are we sure this will work? What if he manages to steal the Miraculous again!"
With a soft smile, Marinette gave Nooroo a tiny hug, "Don't worry about that. I have plans in place in case he tries anything."
"Ok."
Wayzz sat beside Nooroo on Marinette's hand and said, "No matter what happens tonight, you will not be taken from us."
With the butterfly, kwami reassured the four flew into Marinette's purse and settled in. A confident smile towards the kwami remaining in her room and Marinette walked out ready for the gala.
Nothing would go wrong tonight.
