Sol

"Sol, what is it?" Erin's mom answers the door, in sweats, red eyed like she's been crying all day.

"It's just for a few hours," I say, pushing Erin into her mother's arms and stepping back. Her mother screams and starts hugging her. I close the door.

My job here is done, I suppose. I pull out my phone to check. 805 missed calls, 2009 missed messages really Luna? Really? I go off the grid for two days? So dramatic. Girls. My mom too, telling I'm not invincible and I need to stop scaring her and I'm not invincible even if I think I am. What happened did she find out about the Tide Pods thing? Cause Luna was in that video too and she should be in trouble too it wasn't like I was the only one eating them. Whatever mom, it's not like I'm hurt. I text her that I'm fine and at a friend's. She will not buy that, but I have more texts to read.

There are a bunch of texts from Felix.

Shit's going down man, where are you?

Dude listen really if you're in Winfell answer your phone

Call me

Call me

What's with him? I thought he was mad at me or something. I try to call him. No response. I text what's up and wait a reasonable half an hour while lying on the lawn listening to music. Nothing. If he's that upset maybe I should track his phone and see where he is. That would be the nice thing to do. I'm not doing anything anyway.
