"Y'all go in, I need to find a place to park," Gabby said as we got to the club. Brandon and Sam wasted no time getting out and I followed right after. "I'll join you shortly," she said as I got out of the car.
The club looked bright and fancy on the outside, it was painted in all white. People walked in after showing the bouncers their Ids. The inside of the club was nothing like the outside. Like every other club I'd been to, it was dark, with flashes of coloured lights. It had a brightly lit dance floor covered in squares of different coloured lights. The loud music filled my ears as I looked around at the club goers, rocking and grinding their bodies against each other in a cold sweaty rhythm.
"Woo-hoo!" Samantha exclaimed, "this is just what I'm talking about. I'll go get us a place to sit." she said and shimmied away.
"I'll go get us drinks." Brandon said following right after.
I stood there for a few seconds more before finally moving towards the bar. Hitting on a bartender for just a bit wouldn't be such a bad idea, I really needed the distraction after my day at work. On getting to the bar, I unbuttoned my blazer to expose some skin and feel the partying mood. By the time I was at the bar, Brandon was already there and he was hitting on the cute bartender already. Yikes.
He turned to wink at me and I winked back and gave him a thumbs up. The bartender was with no doubt a cute fellow, living up to the story Gabby told me earlier in the day but he preferred guys, apparently.
I took two glasses of martini from Brandon and went to look for Sam, she had gotten us good seats close to the dance floor. I took a seat and a sip from my drink. Samantha was already fully in the partying mood, she went from head bopping to throwing herself on the dance floor after trying to pull me with her.
"I want to finish my drink first." I yelled over the music so she'd hear me as I pointed to my drink.
She just shrugged and left me there.
"You won't believe who I ran into just at the entrance." Gabby said taking a seat beside me and taking a sip from my drink. She was out of breath and fanning herself with her hand.
"Who?" I asked.
"Only the hottest tv star in the city," she said faking a slump on my body with her hand on her forehead. I couldn't help but smile, now eager to know who she meant. "It was Brian Matthews," she screamed, "he came here with some of the guys from the set of his latest movie Love and Charges."
"No kidding." I replied forming an 'o' with my lips.
"I kid you not," she said giggling, "they went to the VIP section, I hit on one of the guys and he invited me to come chill with them but I said I was here with my friends and I wouldn't leave y'all," she pouted and took another sip from my drink, "he asked if my friends are hot, I said Duh and he was like I should bring y'all over, how 'bout that?" She finished, wiggling her brows.
By the time we got Samantha to come with us to the VIP part of the club, she'd already had two free drinks and about two guys fighting for a dance with her. She was with no doubt a hottie but unlike Gabby—who had jet black hair that was shoulder length with an olive skin tone to match—Sam had caramel brown hair with a warm golden complexion. Both girls were built almost the same way in terms of height and shape, except Gabby had hips that could make men and even some women go crazy. She knew she was hot and she carried herself with so much confidence, I was almost jealous of her.
We made our way to the VIP part of the club. That was were all the hot guys had gone to hide. The atmosphere in the VIP area was a lot cooler and calm compared to the other side. Although, one could still see everything going on in the club from this part and the view was amazing.
