⭐️Fun Facts

- Bird was actually going to be part bird (her "squid" form being a strange looking bird), but the idea was scrapped because it didn't have proper backing/explanation to the species/mutation.

- Bird's power reveal scene in turf (Chapter 11, as well as the intro to the Wave Crashers in the previous chapter) is based on Olive Waffles/Doggerwoofle's OC story, Shockwave. Her OC Celeste is introduced to a group of bullies by having a slosher dumped on her head, then an Inkling named Ruthor provides her a weapon to shoot the bullies and their leader, Neo, with. Celeste takes the shot but only lands one little drop on Neo, which is laughed at by him and the bullies. The ink then electrocutes Neo, and he gets mad.

- Hunter's original name was "Harper", in a reference to the fact he is a Harpoon Snail.

- The arc as a whole was inspired by an old comic I saw where a person could twist their hat to transform into an animal, and in one comic they turned into a Thunderbird to stop some Lumberjacks. I know the animal is a Native American myth, but I just thought it was cool at the time.
