3rd person pov
Virgil was pacing back and forth completely panicking. The only good news was that Roman wasn't freaking out anymore. Logan turned around and pulled his friend aside.
"Virgil, this is bad! We can't let him go with out secret. It's only a matter of time before Alicia is told that-"
"No! No one is going to say anything to my mother. She doesn't know we're here, she doesn't know we're against her, let's keep it that way." Virgil interrupted. Of course it was dangerous but it was the best option out of the three they had. Option 1 would be coming clean with Virgil's mother, which would threaten his and Logan's freedom, option 2 being killing Roman, something the florist couldn't bring himself to do and lastly, trusting Roman with that information. They walked back to where Roman was standing. Virgil walked past him and held the door open.
"Need a ride home Princey?" The latter eased up at the nickname knowing Virgil wasn't mad at him. He smiled and nodded.
"Yes, thanks emo."Virgil started the car, Roman shuffling awkwardly in his seat next to him.
"I'm sorry, " He finally blurted out "I know that by me knowing your secret, I'm putting you and Logan in danger and, I'm truly sorry..." Virgil gave him a sideway glance
"Ro, I chose to let you know. If I were in great danger, I don't think you'd be here right now." this gave him a chill down his spine. It was the first time he saw the usually shy and anxious florist this way. He was as mysterious and angsty as before but now... It was hard to describe. Virgil parked in Roman's driveway and turned to look at him.
"I think it's worth noting that if you say anything of what you saw tonight to anyone, I won't be hesitant to murder you this time."
"Threatening me Emo?" The latter smirked.
"Nah. Just playing with you. Now scram Princey, we'll talk tomorrow."Roman didn't sleep. Nothing of what happened that night made sense, yet it did in a different way. He wasn't scared of what he saw. Other than that, he was intrigued. Roman wanted to know who Virgil really was now more than ever.
