Logan was the one driving us to our destination, and he wasn't enjoying it. "REMUS I WILL DRIVE US INTO A WALL IF YOU SPEAK AGAIN!" "Logan!" "I'm sorry Patton." Logan apologized. Remus snorted. "Simp." "Alright that's it-" "LOGAN NO!"
We finally got here in one piece and the car hasn't been driven into any walls. I was the first to walk in. Everyone voiced how much they liked the place. It was perfect. Patton took out our to do list and ticked the first case. What a great way to start things off. We headed back in the car and went to our next destination. Remus and Janus bought weapons, my brother got really found of a morning star and was refusing to let go of it. Another case was ticked on the list. We were about to go back in the car when I got a call from the hospital. Remus stopped talking and immediately got closer. I answered the phone. "Hi, yes this is Roman Amore... Okay... Oh I see... Yeah, thank you." I hung up. "It's about mom." Remus was obviously worried. I looked at him and smiled. "She just woke up!" My brother's face lit up. He looked between everyone wordlessly. "You guys can go, we'll take care of the rest." Patton said. We ushered out a thank you and ran to the hospital.
Virgil
I was the first to go to bed as I was secretly hoping to see Roman in my dream again. This time, I was back home. I saw Roman in the living room, looking like he was waiting for me. I walked up to him and hugged him from behind. He placed his hand on mine and leant back in the touch. "Well someone is happy to see me." Roman laughed, turning around to face me. "I am now since I know I'm actually talking to you." I admitted, not pulling away from the embrace. He kissed my forehead and brushed my hair out of my face. "Any chance I can know what you guys are plotting to get me back?" "And ruin the surprise?! Hell no! I'm sorry mi amor but you'll have to wait a little. Now! Would you like to take a walk outside and talk?" "Heh, do I??! Let's go Princey!"
I gave Roman a kiss as goodbye. "I love you." I whispered before waking up. I sighed, a feeling of loneliness slowly sinking in. That day, I would be meeting my future wife... Let's say I wasn't so enthusiastic about it. I got up, got dressed and headed downstairs. Alicia was already downstairs.

She looked at me for a moment then nodded. "She's going to be here in 30 minutes." She said. Before she could leave, I grabbed her arm. "Why are you doing this?" She looked at me with confusion in her eyes. This is the first time I've spoken to her since I came back. "Virgil, I'm going to need you to elaborate." "...Why have you taken me away from my boyfriend and forced me into marrying someone I can't have romantic feelings for. What do you get from all of this? Are you feeling joy from watching me suffer?!" In a split second, I saw it. The compassion of my mother. Her long lost empathy and the sadness in her eyes came back in that split second. Then the woman I hated with a burning passion took over again. She grabbed my arm and pulled me closer, digging her nails in my skin. "Everything I've ever done was for you and your ungrateful siblings. I can't see how me doing that is making you suffer. I'd advise you not to take your frustration out on me child. Did I make myself clear?" She spoke every word with an irritation and anger that was barely restrained. I glared at her and stood up straight. "Crystal clear." She nodded and walked away.
