Virgil was talking with Roman as he was arranging a bouquet in the shade of the main store.
"Ah I forgot to tell you, there's a ball that we're going to tonight!"
"What? What ball?"
"An awakening ball for Vampires. If you're invited, you can bring a plus one. Logan is bringing Patton and... If you want to..." The florist's face went red and he looked down, embarrassed. "you could be my plus one." Roman grinned.
"I would love to! Thanks Virge." Virgil smirked in relief but quickly passed it off with a sneer.
"Try not to make a fool out of yourself there Princey."
"Ha! You wish! I'm just hot, not a hot mess mind you."

Roman and Virgil were at the back of Logan's car, Patton being in the passenger's seat. It was funny to watch Patton trying to flirt with Logan, completely unsettling him. Roman turned to face Virgil.
"Any luck I can make you as flustered?" He asked, draping an arm around the other man's shoulders.
"Ha, you'd die trying Princey." Virgil replied as he let himself fall into the touch.
"If I could die with you in my arms like that, then I wouldn't mind Stormcloud." The florist was enjoying this more than he'd like to admit. Neither of them realized that Logan and Patton were looking at them in the rearview mirror. Soon, too soon, they had to pull away as they had finally arrived.

Roman was putting on makeup. In a matter of minutes, he's already taken over the bathroom which was full of eyeshadow palettes, eyeliner, mascara, gloss, lipstick, you name it.
"Are you anywhere near done?" Virgil asked in a bored tone from their shared bedroom.
"I'll soon be finished but for your information, a prince HAS GOT to slay. Especially with a hottie like you at his side." He had a scoff in response.
"Alright, I'm done!" Roman opened the door and froze in his steps. Virgil looked breathtaking. He was wearing a purple tuxedo and a black bow tie. He had violets all over his collar and some in his matching purple hair. Roman also left Virgil speechless with his red and gold tuxedo, and his flower crown. There was a playful tug in Virgil's chest as he looked Roman up and down. None of them noticed they were slowly stepping towards the other until they were only inches apart. Virgil hesitantly snaked his arms around his waist while Roman reached up to cup his face. Their eyes fluttered closed, slowly closing the remaining place between them and-
"Virgil! My dear, I know you're in there!" Virgil went pale with shock. He ran up to the door to open it, revealing a gorgeous woman that was looking fondly at the flustered man. She patted his cheeks as she gushed about how much she'd missed him. Virgil finally turned to Roman.
"Let me introduce you two. This is my friend Roman. Roman, meet my mother."
